“Nice place , staff”

Me and my family think that this hotel is a wonderfull hotel , while we was there we had such a lovley time , no complanits or anything , the staff treated us really good , but one bit off advice and this is to all girls they is a bar man called simon that works at the hotel , he is a ladies man , he likes to flirt about and make you think that he likes you but to be truthful his only gonna break your heart , but apart from that one thing , everything else was Ok , and we would like to go back there but cant at the moment as im hurtin over him, so we are going to give it a miss ,
Bedrooms:- The bedroom is really nice you have two single beds together and a double wardrobe and in the living room there is a sofa which pulls out into a bed , the rooms was cleaned everyday which is really good and the maids leave sweets and fresh towels. theres a steep hill leadin to the hotel which is ok going down but abit hard coming up indoor swimming pool cold not heated. hope you enjoy your stay the food was delicious and somethin different every day. entertainment not to bad a little for everyone

Just back from Benelmadena Palace which we had a very enjoyable time. I would recommend here for a family with kids under 10 as there was plenty of fun arranged for them and they could also be kept entertained up to 11:00pm which gave the adults an extra bit of spare time to themselves. The food served was quite good the entertainment at night was much the same as you would get in any complex in Spain which is average enough and the staff there was very friendly. If I had to make one complaint it would be about the air conditioning although all rooms have it the standard from it was very poor compared to other apartments we stayed in and as for the hill up to the main door you will get used to this very quickly. Overall I would have no hesitation in returning to the Palace and would have no problem in recommending anybody to stay there.

GOOD POINTS:
* Nice Swimming Area
* Excellent facilitles for children

BAD POINTS:
* Definately not a 4 star more like 3 star hotel (based on room stayed which was 1 bed apartment in the roof on 6th floor to which my wife who is only 5ft 4in had to bend to stand in 1/3 of the room)
* Food was very bland and repititive (Wife and Son struggled)
* Staff were ok except for one very rude and discurteous waiter/greeter
* Rooms viewed were all small and extremely basic
* Location is ok a fair old hill to walk up though (Use car park shortcut)
* Rooms are not cleaned to a high standard (found glass over the floor along with old food in the microwave)
* Air Con was not sufficient (saying that it was 37 degrees)

OVERALL: Would not recommend to a friend as there are much better 4* hotels available on the Costa Del Sol coastline, Would not return :(

just back from the glorious sunshine to rainy Ireland, I wish I was still there. I have stayed in 5 star hotels before but I have to say the service in this hotel was superior. They really know what customers expect and they deliver in this hotel. The service was excellent and all staff even the cleaners had a smile for my kids.we didn't have to go to reception for advise, most staff had excellent english and were more than willing to advise. The pool area had a hut that sold cold drinks and ice cream and a life guard on duty so parents could sit back and soak up the sun. The shopping center is a 3 min walk out the back entrance by the pool and was very reasonable. The beautiful marina was 5 mins in a taxi and €8 or a 20 - 30 min walk away. The shop in the hotel also sold essentials which was perfect for emergencies but a little more expensive. The entertainment was all focused around the kids with a mini disco and nightly visits from Benny the tiger which my boys really loved, they are still singing the songs and dancing the routines they learned every night. The entertainers were excellent and made all the kids feel special. Football and water polo and many other activities daily also for older kids. yes there is a hill but don't worry use your key card to get in to the car park, then use the lift and it's no problem, we were up and down daily with bugys and never complained. If I was traveling without kids I don't think I would choose this hotel but it is just perfect for anyone wanting to entertain children Rooms were tight but what we expected and had a generous balcony. I will be returning to this hotel.

Only back from staying in this hotel and have to say I cannot find any fault... there was 12 people in our group 6 kids and 6 adults and everyone had a brilliant time. The kids pool is great for the younger kids and the main pool is large so plenty of room for everyone. There is also a lifeguard on duty at all times who didnt stand for any messing in the pool which was great. The entertainment everynight was good kept all the kids entertained and when they had enough there is also the games room and cinema so plenty for them to do. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was adequate for 2 aduts and 2 kids and it was cleaned on a daily basis. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Have to say an absolutely brilliant holiday and can't wait to go back next year!!!!!!!

We travelled to this hotel in June, the hotel itsself was fantastic, really good entertainment on offer, good food choices.
The hotel is quite big so dont go here if you want a quite getaway, location wise it was up a steep hill so would not recommend to people with walking difficulties, even though taxis are always available.
Whilst staying in Benalamdena we found it to be quite busy and full of british owners. There are a few day trips that are definately worth a trip the crocadile park, aqualand and the marina park. We found that with the exchange rate that prices where not to bad, cocktails were about 4-6 euros depending on where you go. I wouldnt go back here but it was nice for a quick week away with the children.

Stayed for 5 nights, Check in was very quick and easy. Safety deposit box needs to be paid at reception (save yourself a trip back down) at a cost of 2.70 euro per day. Pool towels also available at reception with a deposit of 10.00 euro. You can get fresh towels at any time and your deposit back at end of stay.

Stayed in 1 bed apartment which was basic enough but also good value considering what we paid and compared to the cost of accomadation in other hotels. Good air conditioning system which was very welcomed after a long day in the sun. Pool area was always quite busy so opted for the beach which is only a short walk away. There was always a nice breeze on the beach and i have to say the sun beds had lovely thick mattress's and were extremely comfortable.

My little girl was quite shy and would'nt stay in the kids club on her own but what i saw of it seem pretty good. We dined out every evening and headed back about 10 for the entertainment. There was something different every night and it went on till about midnight. All the kids seemed to love it.. The kids get to sit on the floor beside the stage and participate in whatever show was on and they had a ball.

Alcohol was very reasonable and everywhere was extremely clean. Hotel is a 30min stroll from Marina where there is always lots of life, We walked up in the evenings and got a taxi back, cost about 10.00 euro. Overall i would say this is a good 3 star hotel and great for family's. If your looking for a romantic or lively holiday then i'd try somewhere else, but for young kids i dont think you'd beat here!
