“Fantastic villa in a great location”

Having recently retuned from a short break at the beautiful Casa Manzanilla we can not praise the villa or the owners highly enough! From booking through to departure any questions we had were answered quickly and Elizabeth was happy to let us check in/out at times that suited our flights which was most appreciated.
Miguel welcomed us and showed us around the wonderful villa and gardens. Inside the villa was very clean and well equipped with all you need for your stay. We loved the massive walk in wardrobe and bathroom suite in main bedroom! All the bedrooms were spacious and had plenty storage. The garden room is huge and has bunk beds and a double bed, lovely big bathroom and great views and is separate from main villa.
The sun around the pool was from sunrise to sunset which is just what us Scottish girls needed! A great sized pool and brilliant to have outdoor fridge and bar area for chilled beers/wine in the sun.
There are a couple of supermarkets within 5 min walk and a few small bars and restaurants nearby also, there is a regular bus service into town/beach with the bus stop at top of the road. We walked to the beach and would say around 40 mins pleasant walk with plenty bars on the way.
We can not fault the villa or the service at all, many thanks again to Elizabeth and Miguel for such a memorable stay.

“Beautiful Villa in a great location”
Reviewed 26 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We have recently returned from Casa Manzanilla and can honestly say that our holiday there was perfect.

The villa really is beautiful and a real home from home. Elizabeth has made sure that the villa is well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay.

On our day of arrival we were met by Elizabeth and her brother who showed us around the villa and gave us a tour of everything. They were very helpful from the start and always happy to help with everything.

The villa was perfect for the family and very spacious. My parents stayed in 5he anex which was big and also had a jacuzzi bath.
The main bedroom in the villa that we stayed in had a massive walk in wardrobe and enjoyed suite with jacuzzi bath.

My 2 year old loved the pool and garden to play and there was a sky TV inside too.

The Al fresco dining area was great for bbqs and dinning.
There is a lidl 5 minutes walk up the road which stock everything.

Another 100 yards from lid in the opposite direction is a great little bar called alfees. Al and Fiona who own it are a great couple and will make you feel so welcome. Alans cooking is amazing !!! Well worth a try.

The area itself is lovely and there's lots to do.

We found ourselves getting a taxi into benalmadena at night as we loved the port so much. We also got the little train at times from tivoli world as we were about a 15 minute walk away. Arroyo is around another 5 mind away from tivoli. There's lots of little shops and restaurants here too.

The cable cars at tivoli are a must as the views are breathtaking.

The villa is close to a bus stop too and we ventured into mihas and the little Spanish town was so picturesque. Great for views and shopping.

We really cannot fault our stay and would both recommend and return to casa manzanilla in future. I really didn't want to go home it was that nice.

Thank you Elizabeth for such a perfect holiday. We will most definitely be back.

“Relaxing and Comfortable Place to Stay”
Reviewed 13 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

I stayed at Villa Manzanilla in late October and early November 2014 with my father who was still recovering after a long hospital stay. Obviously, a little large for the two of us but we were looking for somewhere quiet, comfortable, relaxing and private and this villa was just right.

The owner Elizabeth met us on arrival and was very helpful, and along with her son (back in the UK), always responded quickly to any email queries.

The villa was clean and comfortable but obviously the main attraction was the neat pool area, patio and sun deck. Many a happy, sunny, lazy day were spent there. Even after the sun went down on the cooler November evenings, the sheltered patio area overlooking the pool held the heat so you could stay outside for longer.

A reasonably-sized Lidl supermarket is five minutes away, along with a few bars, and the centre of Arroyo de la Miel is a comfortable 15 minutes walk away. Here, there are more bars and shops, as well as Tivoli World and the entrance to the Cable Car which takes you up the mountain for great views of the coast on a clear day.

We had been planning to spend a second week elsewhere on the Costa Del Sol. However, we had such a pleasant week that we decided to stay at Villa Manzanilla instead! So, we can definitely recommend!

“Fantastic Villa for a very relaxing holiday”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed for a week in August - 3 adults and 4 children (6-15). The set up for us was perfect, as 2 families, my sister in law and kids stayed in the Annexe separate from the house, so we were not on top of each other.
The kids had a fantastic time in the pool as we relaxed either sunbathing or in the much needed Shaded area right next to the pool.
The owners were very accommodating, and they took care of everything we asked (IPOD was not working - so they went out and got us another one within the day!). Its great that there was speedy WIFI, so the kids could use their tablets also.
Nicely Air conditioned, but inside the house was cool anyway.
It was about 15 min walk to main village, but supermarket 5 mins walk away was great.
Taxi to main Benalmadena Marina was only 9 Euro's.
We caught the train to the water park (6 Euros for the 7 of us!).
Perfect!

“Nice villa”
Reviewed 18 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Had a great time, villa very nice, although we were a bit disappointed that the hot tub was broken and we couldn't access English TV. The villa is in a great location, but most of the adjacent properties have barking dogs !

“Magnifico!”

Stayed here for 3 weeks during August 2013 with my own family and extended family.

We had a wonderful time. The villa was perfect in every way.

There is plenty of space, the outside area and pool is excellent. There is a bar over looking the pool (which I made good use of), and you get sun all day.

The villa is not overlooked and is located in a quiet area.

The villa is very spacious, including a separate apartment, plenty of bathrooms also make it ideal for a large group/extended family.

The owner, Elizabeth, is a lovely lady.

Highly recommended!
