Four of us stayed from 27th April till 4th May in two rooms. We had to queue to check in, not for long, and we were glad because we found out that we needed to fill in an information leaflet that was in the pack the First Choice Rep had given us at the airport on arrival. He rattled off his spiel so fast that I didn't hear the bit about the form.
The rooms were very nice, in Paraiso Block B. We had a sea view and early morning sun. If you like afternoon sun, make sure you get a pool view in block B.
The lunches are served in the Beach club restaurant. This is over the road from the main Hotel. We went across the road bridge the first time that we visited it, but asked the guy in the office/shop to open the gates for us after that. much quicker. Be careful crossing the road!
The shop sells some groceries, but I had a poorly tummy and found out that they are not allowed to sell over the counter remedies, so we had to make a trip into Fuengirola for Imodium!
I must say, this is the first all inclusive holiday I have been on where we had to buy bottles of water. 2 bottles in the fridge, but if you want more either buy it or save an empty bottle and fill it in the dining room.
The lunchtime food in the waterpark was better than Dinner in the main hotel. Its a shame that the food looks so nice but has no taste, meat was very tough. The biggest moan I had was plastic glasses at Dinner. Get a drink from the bar on the way into the dining room, they will give you a glass.
The snackbar by the pool hotelside serves burgers, chips, pasta. We didn't have any because we didn't know how long it had been sitting there uncovered.
We popped our heads into the Malaka Bar, but it was a bit too loud for us, so we used the Piano Bar mostly. The bar staff are great, special shoutout for Man (Maria) smily face. The Irish Bar didn't open till 11pm so we never bothered.
The Kid's Club worked their socks off, children had a great time. The hotel pool was kept very clean, and the carpet grass ws very safe, no slips!
The indoor pool and fitness centre did not open until 10am, a shame, we would of liked to use it before breakfast, especially as there is nowhere to take an early morning walk due to the hotel being a bit remote.
We had a lovely break at a really bargain price so thanks to all concerned

Room Tip: Paraiso block rooms 358 and 359 have a sea and road view. Sun in the morning. very quiet. Taxis see...

just got back from here .we went Easter week.

I Had read reviews before we went and I admit I went with a little trepidation.
All this dissolved though once we had checked in.
The rooms are fantastic , very big with large bathroom 2 showers [ 1 over a bath]
2 sinks , the main bedroom is huge with 2 queen size beds and plenty hanging /storage space.
there is a small well equipped kitchen with microwave /fridge etc and a fairly large lounge area
where the kids slept on the pull out beds .
there is a TV with a few English channels so you can keep up with events back home if you need to.
then we go down to the complex
be warned you can easily get lost its huge, there are 3 bars a small piano bar which was our favourite with live duos strutting their stuff every night , the main entertainment room and a poolside bar where you can also get snacks throughout the day.

the pool itself is big with plenty of sunloungers and if there is no room there you can walk over the bridge to the other pools .

entertainment throughout the day for kids and adults alike if you want it ,
ranging from quizzes to canoeing and don't worry if you don't the First choice staff don't hassle you.

the food in the restaurant was very good with plenty of choice and if like me you like your food hotter than the average Foreign servings then there is a microwave for you to use ,.
you are allowed to use the Mexican and Italian restaurants while you are there which made a nice change.
My only bug bear was you had to pay for slushes if your kids wanted them.

all in all a fantastic holiday looked after by caring staff , thanks for the memories

Room Tip: ask for a sea view in the quiet block which is away from the bar noise etc we had room 453 whic...

Loved this holiday and have already booked to return next summer.
Travelled alone with my little boy aged 7 who apart from pinning him to eat, I never saw. There was so much for him to do all day with activities around the pool and the kids clubs. One one day he went to 5 sessions! The reps were amazing and the range of activities was fantastic. Big thank you to Emma from swim academy for being so patient with him. He still talks about his swimming lessons.
When he attended evening sessions I would take a book and read on the patio area outside the piano bar. Being a female and sitting alone, I never felt uncomfortable.
There were always beds around the main pool, even when we returned from excursions mid afternoon. Our room was very good. The bathroom was HUGE! Little un couldn't get over having two basins, two showers and two toilets(one was really a bidet). I paid a little extra to have a sea view. This was well worth the money. Each night we would return to our room to watch the boats and cruise ships sailing past.
Yes there were little niggles - no self service drinks outside so having to queue for them, plates weren't always clean in the restaurant, sun loungers were not adjustable which was a nuisance when I wanted to read, our room was on floor 0 and on top of the piano bar which could become quite noisy at night, but on the whole this was the best holiday we have had. My son woke crying the last two mornings because he did not want to go home.
Can't wait to return next year.

Room Tip: Sea view a must. try to get a room on a higher floor.

Stayed here with my wife, toddler and young baby. Although I'm not ocd about cleanliness we found that the rooms were dirty, under the beds and under the sofa bed were not cleaned at all. Rooms had ants running on floor and the bathroom smelled of sewerage. In the dining room plates were not very clean either. This spoilt an otherwise beautiful hotel with friendly staff a shame.

Just returned from amazing holiday travelling with husband and 9 year old son. The hotel was spotless as were the rooms which were really spacious. Beds lovely and comfy and maids did a great job. All staff were great. Food was good quality although I preferred the food over at the beach club side, but this was only open for lunch, maybe in peak its open in evening also. Got a bit the same towards the end but maybe that was just my choices. Staff in restaurant were also so efficient and helpful.

The kids club was so good, my son went to nearly every session and did snorkelling, archery, cross bows etc, he loved it made some good friends and adored the staff (he fave's were Ashley and the two Georges). When we picked him up from the final session he was very upset and said it was the best holiday he'd ever been on and made me promise we would return.

Little grips were WiFi was a bit inconsistent, but who really needs that when on holiday and you had to pay to use the indoor pool and gym, which I thought was a bit poor being in a AI Hotel.

My ONLY complaint is the pool was freezing!!! But again, we were at the beginning of the season.

On the whole, great holiday, will return.

Room Tip: We didn't pay extra for Pool view but still got a nice sea and mountain view.

Had a lovely week and would definitely return. The food was fine- I didn't really like the trek to the beach bar each day for lunch with the pushchair but it kept us active.
We had gone with our one year old and had been provided with a travel cot. Unfortunately this was in the living room so at night we couldn't use this room to relax for fear of waking him! But other than that the room was very child friendly.
The crèche was fantastic. We were wary of leaving our son with strangers but the professionalism, attitude and friendliness of Katie and the girls soon put us at ease and it meant we could get a couple of hours peace from a very active boy! They did structured activities with the kids and my son really enjoyed it. Massive thank you to Katie for helping us all to have a great holiday.

Dear Guest,

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your recent holiday.

With regards to the location of the cot in your living room, with a little re-adjustment of the bedroom furniture, we could have placed it in the bedroom if you had requested it.

Many thanks and we hope that you consider us for any future holidays.

What started off a very cloudy rainy week ended brilliantly!! But you can't control the weather, which is always a shame..

The location of the hotel isn't the best, as there isn't anything within walking distance other than the beach, which is nice, but you don't really need it as there's everything you need in the hotel! Arcades, pool tables, bars, shop, all sorts. Which we took full advantage of on the rainy days.. The food is your standard all inclusive buffet, but I always found something nice to eat and I'm a very fussy eater.. The Italian restaurant, where you get one 3 course meal on your all inclusive, was beautiful, I couldn't fault it. But the tex-mex was somewhat questionable :/ I didn't enjoy it at all, but that might just be a one off.. The rooms are kept clean and tidy and all the staff are very friendly and polite..

To sum it up: We both had a lovely holiday despite the weather, and would certainly go back here in the future.
