“Wonderful Hotel Casa Rosa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

We can only agree with all the excellent reviews. Our 2nd stay in Room 14 (16-25 June 2014) was everything anyone could wish for. The Hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean, Rosa, Rafael and family are so lovely and treat you like part of the family and the superb breakfasts are well worth a mention and extremely good value at 6 euro each per day.....................what a choice! Every day we just had to finish off with the amazing, light and tasty pancakes with lemon and sugar...................yummy............absolutely mouth watering! We just cannot find any fault whatsoever with this very clean and pretty little Hotel in Benalmadena Pueblo. Thank you Rosa, Rafael and family for another enjoyable holiday. Hope to see you again next year. Best Wishes from Carol & William (Bill)

Hotel Casa Rosa is a little family run hotel in the beautiful Benalmádena Pueblo. Benalmádena Pueblo retains that old Andalucian atmosphere, the houses are white, the streets are narrow and there are flowers everywere. We travelled as a couple with a teenager. We had a spacious room on the 2nd floor facing the street and a lovely, although small, balcony, where we could sit in the evening sun. The rooms on the other side of the hotel have a seaview which is undoubtedly a better view than we had although they don´t get the evening sun. On the top floor there is a terrace with a seaview, open for everybody. The rooms and the remainder of the hotel were always very clean. Rosa and Rafael make everyone´s stay a delight and are always prepared to help you with anything. Rosa´s breakfast is amazing, in fact it is the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel, if not the best breakfast ever, period. There is a variety of fruit, bread, cheeses and cakes plus homemade yogurt, eggs, omelets and the best crepes we have ever tried. Try the crepes with the lemon-sugar, they are amazing. Kids/teenagers absolutely love the chocolate ones.
Parking can be a problem, we had a rental car and were pretty lucky with finding parking places. If you can´t find one in the street in front of the hotel, there is usually one close to the entrance of the street.
From the hotel, it takes around 5 minutes to walk to the center of Benalmádena Pueblo where there are a lot of good restaurants. Although there are a lot of tourists you can still feel this genuine Spanish atmosphere. There are plenty of other things to do, there is a 5 minutes drive to the beach and only a couple of minutes drive down to Arroyo de la Miel where Tivoli World is situated. Close by is also a large buddhist temple and a butterfly park.
If you are looking for a holiday on a sunbed by a pool this is not the hotel for you, but if you want to experience that home-like feeling in a beautiful, clean little hotel with superb service and breakfast, Hotel Casa Rosa is the place for you.
We will definitely return.

Room Tip: The rooms on the seaside of the hotel have a fantastic view, especially on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Th...

Stayed last night, rooms spotless it's a lovely walk to the centre of the village from here. We slept well and the icing on the cake has to be the breakfast. They have fruit , cereal, home made yoghurt, bacon, eggs of any description, pancakes all served in the bright sunny breakfast room. Totally enjoyed our stay, we will return, regards Jan and Tony

My partner and I have just returned from our stay at Casa Rosa. Before I say anything about the hotel I would like to reinforce everyone elses comments on taxis from the airport. GET THE TRAIN!!!! We paid €34.50 for a taxi to the hotel. If you get the train, which we did on the way home, its €2 per person and you can get a taxi from arroyo de la miel for €7.50, much cheaper!!

the hotel is beautifully spotless and Rosa and family work extremely hard to make your stay as good as possible. They are always ready to help with anything. Would recommend asking for a sea view as we were in room 1 next to the reception desk and could here everyone coming and going. You also get a terrace with a sea view room.

Breakfast... be warned if you dont like eating dont bother. Rosas pancakes are amazing, we had one everyday, so are her yogurts and icecream, cakes and eggs & bacon. They genuinely want you to eat everything! We tended to miss or have a very light lunch everyday after breakfast. Don't worry you will walk it all off walking up the hills!

The town has loads of resteraunts to eat from. We recommend la pala doro, sopranos, longhorn amd pepes. There are buses every 20-30mins going to mijas, torrequebrada and torremilnos. The buses are very cheap at €1.65 or €0.94 with the card. Ask at the hotel they can provide one. The bull ring Is no longer open but the one in mijas is, if thats your cup of tea. The butterfly park is well worth a visit and only a 5min walk down the road. There is discount if you get there before 11am. The buddhist temple next door to the butterfly park is also worth a look round. The christopher columbus castle is only 5 mins walk aswell. There is a local pool nextdoor to the bull ring.

Would like to say that we thoroughly ennjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

We recently returned from our second visit to Casa Rosa and we can only repeat what everyone says who stays here. Rosa, Raphael and their family are amazing hosts. They made us feel so welcome and the hotel is super clean. The breakfast is delicious with something to suit all tastes. We are already looking forward to our next visit in September. Thank you Rosa, Raphael and family for another wonderful stay.

We stayed here for a 2nd time a week ago and it really was just as good as last year. Benalmadena Pueblo is a beautiful little village and the Casa Rosa compliments it perfectly. Breakfast is superb and well worth 6 euros. The standard of cleaning is outstanding. Raphael, Rosa and their son and daughter are the perfect hosts. We just hope they find somewhere of the same high standards to spend their holidays (if they ever get the time for a break) and would like to thank them very much for another great stay.

Room Tip: We were desperate for room number 14 and booked for this visit but it really doesn't matter whic...
