Benalmadena Pueblo is the old village of Benalmadena. The Benalmadena Marina is the place you want if its Burgers, Bacon and Eggs, sand , sea and discos that are your taste.
Benalmadena Pueblo is a beautiful typical Andalucian village, set high above the marina. The views are stupendous, having the mountains on three sides and facing the sea. It is easy to access the main attractions via public transport and car hire.
The village is immaculate even though there are a great number of dog owners.
Our hotel was of a reasonable standard, considering the price that was paid (Self Catering)
One word of advice, stay away from the restaurants in the main Plazza but do not hesitate to go to the little restaurant, on the left side of the street, just before the Church. You will not be disappointed. 100% You may have to book as the restaurant is small and is well liked. Prices Excellent-Food Excellent.
The locals are very nice especially when you try to speak Spanish! Believe it or not, this tiny village has a fantastic Museum and not to be missed.
