Is very popular with the locals. If you are on holiday you can call in and collect any brochures for the area and ask any questions there are english speaking people there to help you with any problems on a Thursday morning. Also a beautiful building.

We visited the Casa cultura for an art exhibition and saw a poster for an English panto, so along we went. It was an amateur production, but really good. We were very surprised to be seated in a proper theatre within the casa cultura, air conditioned and comfortable. Lovely building inside with lots of features. It holds lots of exhibitions most of which are free, Situated right in the centre of Arroyo, with bars very close by. Lovely

We always visit the Casa de la Cultura when there is an exhibition on. They vary between the type of art that we like, and art that challenges our perception. All of them are of interest and are well displayed and free.

The photos shown are not of the Casa de la Culture in Arroyo de la Miel as the venue is a white building of a different shape.
Get a programme for April/May and you will be pleasantly surprised by the local talent. I saw a junior production of The Pied Piper of Hamelin and the performance brought the house down, especially the energetic rats! I also saw an enjoyable production of The Mousetrap. Both were in Spanish but the plots were easy to understand.
Throughout the year there are cinema events always in v.o.
Although I was on holiday these visits made me feel part of the Spanish community.

Exhibitions, theatre, cinema, tourist information all housed within this beautiful building. Come in and enjoy the beautiful galleried entrance hall with amazing coloured glass windows which reflect the sun.
