“Worth a look”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We've been here a couple of times. The staff are very helpful on arrival, offering a map in your own language. It's probably worth following the route as you can easily miss things as you wander about. It seems to be a work in progress, last year there was no running water in the fountains, this time there was. It's very well put together - it'll look better as time goes on and it beds into it's surroundings more. There is parts where you can't reach - maybe they are not ready to be opened yet - or they aren't designed to be. Some really good views and the castillo looks amazing from a distance (you can see it from the Santa Domingues church in the Benal Pueblo.

“Stunning”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

Bottom of the hill from Pueblo village well worth a visit. You can also buy drinks here water, pop only but needed as it was very hot especially if you forget to take your own liquids!!
There is an entrance fee of 2 euros but well worth it.

“Well worth the visit”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

We came here with our nephew who lives in Benalmadena Pueblo. This is an easy walk down just below the village, and although only relatively recenty built, it is well executed and interesting on a fine day. The views all around and down to the Costa are excellent. Well worth a visit and there is a very modest entry charge. Also the caretaker/receptionist is very friendly and helpful.

“Small & nice castle.”
Reviewed 19 April 2014 via mobile

One day we met the castle in our guide book and decided to visit it without any great expectations. But it was so beautiful, full of symbols of different ages and cultures that finally we were really Impressed! And also with beautiful sea view and nice small garden full of roses and other flowers.. We loved it!
