Overall, the Benalmadena experience was not good. Too many tacky bars and hookers. And it isn't safe. A member of our golfing party, who admittedly may have had a couple of sherbets too many, was mugged not far from this restaurant. So, be warned!
Having said that, this was, by a considerable distance, the best restaurant that I used while staying here. It overlooks the marina, is spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. I started with a very good bowl of Gazpacho and followed it up with Hake, fabulously presented on a bed of mixed vegetables and potato. We stuck with a couple of beers and paid about 40 euros per head. Wine, oysters and the like would have ramped it up and you pay heavily for lobster and the quality end of the wine list. But the service was charming, and meal was very hard to fault, If it is your misfortune to be in this rather nasty resort, I highly recommend this place as somewhere with some much needed class.
