Me and my girlfriend just got back from a week stay at Sol Costa Daurada and we already want to go back! The staff were very helpful and completely fine. Our room was fine and had a very good view. It was cleaned fine most days. Breakfasts weren't that great. They were your normal European breakfast (fatty bacon and horrible sausages) however there was variety. Lunches and dinners on the other hand were great! Again lots of variety that changed everyday and tasteed great! 10 minute walk into Salou meant you could go 2 or 3 times if you wanted. Salou is a great town with lots to do. Would recommend buspalana if you wanted a day excursion to Barcelona. I think for the price you pay you can't complain. There are some flaws like in every hotel but we still had a great time! Overall I'd recommend this hotel and would return tomorrow if I had my way!

First, when you book a room on their website it says : available with twin beds or a queen size bed. When we got in the room we saw 2 single bed and asked for double bed at the reception. The woman answered that there are only 2 rooms out of 200 with double beds. Then the walls are extra thin, you can hear people walking on the top floor, in the corridor and even people talk in rooms around. The air conditioning makes a terrible noise which makes it impossible to sleep with it on during the night. To access the jaccuzzi you need to pay an extra charge of 3euro for the swimming cap. The WC were dirty, we had to clean it ourselves and the water in the shower falls from both the shower head and the tap. There is a lot of choice for the breakfast but the food is very very bad, the fruits are not ripe and the juices taste like soap and water. It is impossible to sleep after 10:30am because they put the same (bad) music very loud every day, same for the evening, impossible to sleep before 11:00pm. They propose a shuttle to get to the parc, but only 15 seats available, that is an amazing joke. The personal is not smiling and welcoming. The only positive point is that you can reach Port Aventura 15min walking from the hotel.

Just back on Monday from this hotel.first it says in hotel that men need to wear long trousers for dinner but no men had them on they all came in shorts,so think they need to make it clear to guest that they need to adhere to it.food ok,loved hotel the kingdom pub was really good, the barman was very nice and nothing was any bother to him,I would go back.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 107 and it was lovely and always cleaned everyday.

Stayed here for a week in mid june. Enjoyed it. Clean hotel good food, some friendly staff.
Basic rooms but more than you need for a holiday. My only gripe is WIFI, this day and age surely WIFI is not that big of an ask, There was a Network available but any time i asked about it at reception there was a different excuse for not giving us access to it. Its only for the second floor who pay for it.....'I will pay' i say, then it doesnt work, So maybe wifi isnt for tourists, only for business user..... just annoying,,,,, anyway our kids were 4 and 6 and the Animacion team always did plenty to entertain them, The food is all in buffet style, and a wide variety of many different styles of food, so everyone is catered for

Short weekend holiday with the two other girls from Thursday to Sunday. As we only paid under £170 each for three nights half board we weren't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised at the value we received from this particular hotel.

The first thing I will mention is that we did not get a transfer from the hotel and we did not need one. The taxi ride is literally ten minutes tops and cost 30 euro so 10 euro each, and did not need to wait around for other passengers and make loads of stops like you normally would on a shuttle.

The room was spacious enough for three people, with two twin beds and a camp bed, all comfy enough, our balcony was overlooking the pool area which was lovely to wake up to! The food had some variety each night with different kinds of chicken and fish, but as two of us are quite fussy eaters we found it a bit samesy. But that didn't bother us as we still had chip butties to fall back on!

The hotel for me, is in a very good place. You are not in the heart of Salou so you don't get the late night pubs/clubs keeping you awake, but we were only a short distance (about 10 minutes walk) from pubs and clubs which we did visit twice. Also quite close to the beach. We did not go to the beach to spend a day but we walked down and had lunch next to it, and it is lovely.

The only fault I had with the hotel is that one of the plug sockets was breaking and coming out - that is literally how good the hotel suited our needs, that the only thing to moan about is a plug socket!! And the fact that on our last day we wanted a shower after we checked out of our room but the spa was shut so we didn't have access to a shower (but there is a luggage room so you don't have to cart it about!)

Overall, a great holiday was had by all & I have already recommended the hotel to others & wouldn't hesitate in stopping here again..

Thanks Sol Costa Daurada!

We stayed here for one week at the beginning of June on a half board basis. Previous reviews we read were mixed but the majority were positive. I have to say that our experience of this hotel was extremely positive. This hotel is one of the cleanest I have stayed in in Spain. Rooms were cleaned every day and the pool area was constantly being cleaned all day. Rooms were basic but what more do you need while on holiday. The inclusion of a fridge in the room was a benefit as it was extremely warm. The large pool was great for both adults and children as the two areas were separated by a bridge that you could swim under. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice with items such as omelettes, pancakes etc being cooked fresh. Dinner always had plenty of choice so no complaints there. Location was also great with about a 10 minute walk to all the main areas of salou. The hotel also put on a courtesy bus that would take you to the beach or portaventura. All in all we had a great stay and would definetely return

Just returned from a very pleasant week's stay at the Sol Costa Daurada.

LOCATION: The free bus service to the beach and PortAventura theme park was extremely useful although both are within walking distance. The train station is also only 5 mins walk away offering an easy way into the fantastic city of Barcelona. The hotel and the resort of Salou appeared to us to be very family friendly. There weren't many clubs around but lots of bars closeby. Lovely sandy beach!

CLEANLINESS: This hotel was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in - even the railings around the pool area and the elevators were cleaned daily.

FOOD: Food choices at the buffet were very diverse and most tastes were catered for - if you're adventurous you could even try shark or snails! I am an extremely fussy eater but only had one night where I struggled to find much to eat except chips and salad. Their desserts were always very good.

STAFF: All very friendly. Provided us with handy train times for getting to Barcelona.

Would recommend!
