When we arrived i had to give the place a clean round . smelt musty from a mop which was left in a bucket . Bed and linen not very clean and pillows awful . During our stay smelt awful drain smell in the kitchen and bathroom . The cooker door didn't close properly and handles came off draws and wardrobes. Not enough draw space ,also ants in the bathroom .

Reception staff were really nice and helpful .

I am 18 and went on holidays with 3 other friends, also 18 and stayed in Village Park. We found the apartments themselves to be nice and spacious, there was 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms and a large kitchen/ living area.

Upon arrival, we were left off outside the apartments. Unortunately the reception is a 10 minute walk from the apartments and we were not given any directons to find the reception. After walking aimlessly up and down steets around the apartments we finally bumped into a fellow guest who had had the same problem on arrival who then showed us to recrption. (The fellow guest had been stuck outside the apartments for 2 hours with his wife and 2 young sons before eventually finding the reception).

There is NO safe provided in the apartments to use, there are safes available in reception, but because it is not a 24 hour reception you only have certain times where you can access your belongings. Because this seemed to be a lot of hassle, we decided not to use the safe in reception and to hide our money etc. in our rooms instead.

We were due to leave on a Monday, and on the Saturday before we were leaving our apartment got broken into. The door was locked but damaged so we could not get into the apartment as our key wouldnt work, we went to reception for help and it was CLOSED. There was no emergency contact number so we had to go to a hotel across the road and ask the manager to help us contact the manager of our apartments. When we finally got through to the manager he sent out a locksmith who got us into the apartment where we discovered that all of our money had been stolen. The locksmith put a new lock on the door, which was not safe as there were holes in the door where you could see the lock and deadbolt as whoever broke in had chiseled at the door in these places. The manager of the hotel didn't bother to come out and see were we all right, instead he expected us to stay in the apartment that night because he couldn't be bothered to come down and speak with us until the following day.

Needless to say, we did not stay in the apartment and instead went to stay with friends we knew also holidaying in the area. The following day we met with a manager who moved us to a different apartment in a different area. It was an absolute nightmare holiday which I would never wish to repeat.

Please note, the thieves only had a half hour time slot in which to break into the apartment, they locked the door behind them and the police thought the door had been damaged AFTER the door was locked. Therefore whoever broke in had to have a key.

I would not recommend this place at all for a holiday, whether you are a family or a group of young people.

We had an excellent family holiday here and got exactly what was offered at te time of booking. If you are looking for a lively hotel style holiday with a pool bar and evening entertainment then this is not the accommodation for you. But if like us you want spacious accommodation with entertainment a short walk away and not groups of children all around then this is perfect. We had a kettle in our apartment, but no microwave so I think it depends on which agent you are booking with as to what your apartment has to offer. We needed a cot, which is not something they offer but they did find me one which was broken but that worked for us.

The resort of Salou has lots to offer and I would definitely go back as there is still lots we have not done.

The Brisasol Village Park is located in the Carrer Del Terrer at the junction with Carrer de Monsearrat Roig. It has a mixture of Spanish owners and residents and is made up of five blocks A to D. A Block is separate and has Spanish residents whilst blocks B to D has a mixture of owners and apartments which are available for renting.

The grounds are clean and well kept and include two swimming pools. One is a 20 metre pool whilst the other is for smaller children. There is also a small play area and table tennis. The complex is well situated close to beaches and amenities but is far enough away to avoid the more noisy elements out and about at night.

Our apartment was situated on the 4th floor of D Block (D409) It was clean light and airy and had air conditioning. The apartment has two bedrooms (one double & one twin room.) The double has an en suite bathroom. There is a second shower room and toilet a spacious living room an adequately equipped kitchen and a balcony facing inwards to the swimming pools.
This complex should not be confused with the Ventura Village Park (also run by Brisasol) which is located a short distance away on the Carrer Del Terrer. The reception is about five minutes away at the Carrer Navarra.

The only gripe I have is we had to hire a kettle? As these apartments are self catering this is a basic item of equipment which should be provided. Overall these apartments were well located within walking distance of Llevant beach, clean and adequately equipped for a self catering holiday. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby to stock up with decent food. Give the Municipal Market in Via Roma a visit for traditional Spanish food and grocery shopping. If you want to eat out you are spoilt for choice in Salou.

An absolute joke no reception and it is like a slum with no security. It is a residential block of flats basically the neighbour has a dog which barks on the balcony. Please please do not stay here if you want a nice peaceful holiday it is like a hell hole

Ok, So Ive stayed here twice, and my family have come to the same apartments overall 4 times, and we LOVE it here! The apartments are clean, quiet, and relaxing. The pool area is clean, although there arent any sunbeds.

From our time here we discovered that most of the apartments belong to spanish residents who live there all year round, or rent to their family & friends, which is no problem at all....

Good location for the beach, and shops/restaurants. This area is very safe to walk around on your own at night etc.

Not far from port aventura (theme park)... and there are bus stops that take you directly there near the beach.

Also only about an hour away from Barcelona on a train... Another great day out!

Cannot fault these apartments at all!!
