Stayed at Les Dalies apartment for a week April 2013- start of the season. The apartment block was modern, clean and ideally located for all the attractions, beach and restaurants. Its near the main road but that didn't really bother us as you can't be near to everything and expect it to be quiet all the time. You can easily sleep with the noise as its not that bad. We had a one bedroomed apartment which was quite spacious, clean and well equipped. There was a little bit of a smell of damp and we found a damp patch under the sink but I guess that apartment may not have been used for a while before we stayed there.
The apartments have balconies which are fine but it was too cold for us to actually sit out for longer than 5 mins due to the weather being a bit chilly. There were a couple of chairs and a clothes airer on the balcony....maybe some sun loungers would have been nice. There's a medium sized swimming pool so I guess the sun loungers are there but we didn't venture (and neither did anyone else!) to the pool. We were on the forth floor - theres a lift and some easily accessible wide stairs.
The towels and sheets were changed twice during out stay and there was a good selection of bathroom essentials if you needed them (e.g shower cap, hand soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, shaving set, sponge and comb) - the usual stuff you get in hotels.
Our only negative were the bedclothes - we would have loved a duvet but had sheets and blankets so at times we were cold at night. There was a good sized wardrobe, shelves both in the bedroom and surprising in the living area. I guess the extra space was for anyone who slept on the more than adequate sofa bed.
There was a microwave/combi oven, hob, fridge, good assortment of cutlery and crockery plus pots and pans plus a good sized table and chairs. When we arrived the plates/cups were not too clean but we left them very clean. There was only one electric point on the food preparation area so we had to juggle the timing of using the toaster and kettle at breakfast.
There's a t.v in the apartment but you can only get a mixture of foreign channels - we tuned into the news as this was about the only English speaking channel available..but then you don't go on holiday to watch t.v. but it is nice sometimes to just chill out watching something where they speak English.
Theres cotton curtains and blackout curtains so I imagine in the summer it would be very cool. Theres also an air conditioning unit and what seemed like a heater but we struggled to get much heat from it - we went in April when it was still kind of chilly!
All in all its a good apartment block. manned reception area (English/Spanish speaking), snack bar and swimming pool all available. Its in a good location near to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. We did a lot of walking around the resort so found a variety of shops and restaurants. We used the pc's in the reception area as we needed to check our emails..its an euro for 15 mins. Theres also the usual vending machines in the reception area.
In conclusion its great value for money and I would stay at these apartments again. Oh we had to pay 7 euros tourist tax on arrival which the receptionist tried to explain to us when we arrived - we managed to work out what she meant!!
