Stayed at these apartments (two couples) in a one bed room apartment for the weekend.

The apartment block and the room itself were immaculate. The bathroom was adequate with free toiletries inc shaving kit, sponge, etc... Also provided with a kitchen pack inc washing up liquid etc... Small kitchen ideal for preparing snacks also had a microwave.

Two wardrobes, comfortable beds, the beds in the living room were two singles (not a pull out bed).

The apartment was ideal for the weekend or for a family with kids but may be on the small side for 4 adults if staying longer than a couple of nights (although we were offered a larger apartment for 10 euros (5 per day per apartment). I did not look at it but she explained it was bigger than the one we were given but as our stay was only short the standard apartment was adequate.

Excellent value for money had a tv and a big balcony too.

Handy machines in reception stocked with water and drinks and snacks, there was a nice small pool with sun beds although this probably gets very busy in the summer. Snack bar selling drinks and snacks and the lady who worked the bar area was really nice and friendly.

Reception star were also very polite and changed our room to a low floor as I don't like lifts. We could not check in until 2pm but they locked our bags in a room for us.

They added on tourist tax which was was only 50cent per person per night and they required a 150 euro deposit but accepted a credit card.

The location was ideal set back from the hustle and bustle but Bly five mins to all the bars and 10 mins to the beach.

I would definately stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

The apartment was very cheap and I was pleasantly surprised by the high standards provided. They also provided two towels per person perfectly adequate.

If you want a cheap apartment in a safe environment try les dailies.

Room Tip: We had a room on the corner which meant we had a very big balcony perfect if you are four persons st...

Stayed at Les Dalies apartment for a week April 2013- start of the season. The apartment block was modern, clean and ideally located for all the attractions, beach and restaurants. Its near the main road but that didn't really bother us as you can't be near to everything and expect it to be quiet all the time. You can easily sleep with the noise as its not that bad. We had a one bedroomed apartment which was quite spacious, clean and well equipped. There was a little bit of a smell of damp and we found a damp patch under the sink but I guess that apartment may not have been used for a while before we stayed there.

The apartments have balconies which are fine but it was too cold for us to actually sit out for longer than 5 mins due to the weather being a bit chilly. There were a couple of chairs and a clothes airer on the balcony....maybe some sun loungers would have been nice. There's a medium sized swimming pool so I guess the sun loungers are there but we didn't venture (and neither did anyone else!) to the pool. We were on the forth floor - theres a lift and some easily accessible wide stairs.
The towels and sheets were changed twice during out stay and there was a good selection of bathroom essentials if you needed them (e.g shower cap, hand soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, shaving set, sponge and comb) - the usual stuff you get in hotels.

Our only negative were the bedclothes - we would have loved a duvet but had sheets and blankets so at times we were cold at night. There was a good sized wardrobe, shelves both in the bedroom and surprising in the living area. I guess the extra space was for anyone who slept on the more than adequate sofa bed.

There was a microwave/combi oven, hob, fridge, good assortment of cutlery and crockery plus pots and pans plus a good sized table and chairs. When we arrived the plates/cups were not too clean but we left them very clean. There was only one electric point on the food preparation area so we had to juggle the timing of using the toaster and kettle at breakfast.

There's a t.v in the apartment but you can only get a mixture of foreign channels - we tuned into the news as this was about the only English speaking channel available..but then you don't go on holiday to watch t.v. but it is nice sometimes to just chill out watching something where they speak English.

Theres cotton curtains and blackout curtains so I imagine in the summer it would be very cool. Theres also an air conditioning unit and what seemed like a heater but we struggled to get much heat from it - we went in April when it was still kind of chilly!

All in all its a good apartment block. manned reception area (English/Spanish speaking), snack bar and swimming pool all available. Its in a good location near to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. We did a lot of walking around the resort so found a variety of shops and restaurants. We used the pc's in the reception area as we needed to check our emails..its an euro for 15 mins. Theres also the usual vending machines in the reception area.

In conclusion its great value for money and I would stay at these apartments again. Oh we had to pay 7 euros tourist tax on arrival which the receptionist tried to explain to us when we arrived - we managed to work out what she meant!!

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a room where the balcony gets some sunshine....ours was facing the pool but it didn...

Went for Easter bank holiday didn't have that much contact with the staff but when did they seemed pleasant enough , basic hotel didn't see a bar (may be they had one but was not open) it said on the website all year pool but what they mean by that I'm not sure as it was not cleaned while we were there and it's defiantly not heated . But overall a decent hotel and I would probably go back in the low season . Try the Spanish restaurant next door always fully booked but if you get in the food is excellent .

I have just come back from a weeks holiday in Salou and found the apartments to be very clean, modern and excellent value in a really good location. It is a five minute walk to the beach, 3 minutes to a good supermarket and bars and restaurants. The reception staff spoke very good english and were very helpful in asking for buses etc. If you are looking for entertainment at night etc this is probably not for you, as it fairly quiet. I wouldn't hesistate to return and i would recommend these apartments to friends and family.

Just spent a week in Les Dalies apartments and found them to be clean, modern, spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning in both the bedroom and a separate unit in the living room. Balcony doors leading from the bedroom and living area. Bath with shower. Polite staff, reception was available 24 hrs a day, limited English but we managed. WIFI was extra only 3 euros for the week. Our room was a standard room overlooking the busy road but did not find it noisy when the balcony doors were closed, and if the doors were open whilst in and out of the balcony it was no noisier than if we were sat at a roadside bar or restaurant. In fact during the late evening it could be quite entertaining watching people walking home, also the music from the hotel opposite was quite enjoyable, and always finished by midnight. The snack bar only seemed to be open during the day but offered a range of snacks as well as all types of drinks, including alcohol, also they sold 6ltr bottles of water which is helpful as they can be quite heavy to carry from the supermarket. The only negative comment I have is that the mattress was very firm, but obviously this is only my personal opinion and others may find the firmness fine. The television had only Sky news and BBC news that was transmitted in English, but we did find some music channels. The apartment had everything needed for a self catering holiday, but we ate out most of the time. Some reviews mention taking your own rubbish out, personally I do not find this a problem when staying at an apartment, the bins out side on the street are plentiful and emptied daily so never a problem disposing of the bags. Our towels and sheets were changed after 2 days and another set of sheets and towels left if we needed to change again. You could pay extra for daily maid service but I didn't feel the need as the apartments have laminated flooring and are easy enough to keep clean. After reading some reviews about the lack of toilet paper I did pack a couple of rolls in case of emergency but we had two rolls when we arrived and the maid left 2 more during the week. There were only 4 of everything but as our room was only meant for 2-4 people I hadn't expected any more. There was a pack of bathroom essentials in case you needed it e.g. comb, razor, sponge, toothbrush, etc. and a pack in the kitchen with a mini washing-up liquid and a sponge/scourer for washing up. As we didn't do much cooking this was adequate for a once a day wash of cups and glasses. If you are prepared to do a little bit of your own 'chores' even though you are on holiday, and want an inexpensive self catering holiday, these apartments are ideally positioned for exploring Salou, and the surrounding area. The local bus office is just a few metres down the road where you can book a day trip to many of the surrounding towns and cities. Most buses stopped at the Plaza Europa roundabout which is 5 mins from the apartments. The promenade is 10 minutes stroll . We had an enjoyable stay at these apartments and should we return to Salou we would stay here again.

Having just returned from these apartments I can honestly say that I had nothing to complain about. They were spotless and well equipped, the pool area although not huge was fine. We never had to fight for a sunbed no matter what time we headed to the pool, which is a refreshing change and that was all fellow travelers complained about on on our flight home. There is no bar as such just a snack area with limited drinks and snacks which closes about 7pm. Do not go to these apartments if you want in-house entertainment( which we didn't). These apartments are ideally located to explore what Salou has to offer out with the confines of a hotel complex. There were few English speaking travelers at these apartments mostly Spanish and French. We had a great holiday and would not hesitate in booking these apartments again.

Room Tip: Select pool side apartment as road outside hotel busy and noisy in morning
