3 rd time me & the wife have been to this hotel & once again we loved every minute of our holiday here.
Special thanks to Tania and all the staff for making our stay special.They are the best.
Spoilt for choice now as the wife does not want to go anywhere else she loves this hotel.

This hotel is tired and well worn.Furniture and fittings were just about servicable in the room and the hotel in general.If you like a hard bed this one is for you as we had to sleep on cushions for any comfort.The food was boring and repetative after three days but for two weeks it was beyond a joke. We were sick and tired of pork chicken and fish - cheap foods and not a piece of steak in sight and who eats spinach and raisin pasties! Only one toaster was working at breakfast for the whole stay causing a queue while the food went cold on the table.The staff however were very attentive and most were pleasant and helpful.Entertainment is awful and ranges from a cocktail mixing class to a guy knocking seven bells out of a piano while attenpting to sing - ear plugs should be supplied! Having been fitted with the ubiquitous all inclusive wrist bands we were asked to recite the room number in the restaurant and bar every time we ordered a drink - why?We will NOT be returning to this hotel and shame on you Iberostar for providing a less than satisfactory four star service in nothing more than a two to three star hotel.

We´d been to Santa Ponsa in the past so knew what to expect as far as the resort goes (it´s excellent), but had never been to this hotel. It´s of a good standard generally, but a couple of things stopped me from rating it higher. First the staff are not very warm and although professional do not seem to do the personal touch very well. Maybe its because it´s part of a big chain, but we felt like numbers rather than real people. Also the location is just too far from the centre and too far from the big beautiful beach which we love. You feel slightly cut off which is a pity. The views from the hotel almost make up for this, but not quite!

The staff at this hotel try very hard to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. They are very attentive and enjoy making you feel welcome. The range of fresh produce served in the restaurant would be difficult to surpass at any 5 star hotel. The position of the hotel immediately on the shore gives it a wonderful vista over the bay as well as easy access to the sea.

Just returned from a very hot week at this hotel. Fab setting,clean hotel, room was amazing with a day bed on the balcony and whirlpool bath open plan in the bedroom.
Staff very friendly and attentive. All inclusive very good, all drinks included even all cocktails.
Food very tasty however we found it very repetitive. If you like pork, fish and desserts you will be very happy. At breakfast you could have all the usual things lots of choice,including cooked meats and pate, however at lunch time it was very hard to put anything cold with a salad except mackerel or tuna, no cold meats or pate. The other choice were a hot fish, burger or pizza (in a 4star). Having said that its just a minor thing.
The other gripes are the usual fight for sunbeds and the terrible evening entertainment.
All in all though it was a good hotel. Santa Ponsa is nothing to write home about though.

Room Tip: pay the extra for a junior suite

After reading the last few reviews I feel that some of the points are viable but this is a 4* hotel in Majorca and lives up to the expectations of that. The rooms are huge and well kept, shower and bath, private toilet with shower and jacuzzi bath in the room. Seating area with large wide screen tv and comfortable seating of balcony. No privacy on balcony but superb views. Can't understand why they don't supply ashtray on balcony in basic rooms but is available on executive suites. Food was wonderful with a huge selection. Never had any trouble at breakfast or dinner of finding any thing to eat. Sandra in the restaurant was superb and tables cleared and coffee arriving as soon as you got there. Reception could be very busy at times and we checked in fine after a nightmare transfer with Jet2, had headache when I arrived and reception saw that I was given water straight away to take some tablets. Pool area, no problems finding a sunbed at any time of the day. The area around the hotel is quite but a 2 minute walk down a very minor hill (more of a slope if you come from reception) you come to many bars, restaurants, shops, taxi rank and the bus stops to Palma or Paguera. The only complaint I have of this hotel is the doors together type of room our neighbours where a young couple who came in at 02.20am and tried to shut the door 3 times very loudly but some mornings were up at0 7.00am, needed to be a bit more aware of other people.
The most wonderful thing has to be the adults only, no screaming in the restaurants and around the pool, bliss. If you want more pay the extra and go 5* somewhere else, value for money was brilliant.

Room Tip: The separate block is quieter than the main block although you have to get 2 lifts.

We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and thought it was beautiful-staff friendly, clean, food excellent. so returned for a week in June.2012.
Stayed in Superior Suite but was surprised that some of the decor was a little tarnished. -for example the airer line outside room was cracked and completed broken-unusable-would not cost very much to repair. Jacuzzi bath did not appear clean-did not feel able to use. Cigarette holes in chair cushions on balcony. Also staff some were very friendly and helpful and others bordering on rude and aloof..
View and situation beautiful but spoilt by the little touches.

Room Tip: Don't bother with superior suites as senior suites are much nicer
