We spent a week in pirates village (2 children 5 and 7 and two adult's) . The hotel exterior is brilliant and started the holiday off with great excitement! We had a one bed apt with was ample for a family. It also had a full kitchen which is unusual for all inclusive but excellent as it meant we had a fridge to keep drinks cool. The cleaners came regularly and the rest of the hotel was kept clean throughout our stay. The pool is a kids paradise. Slides, ample shallow areas and pirates running around causing havoc! We got sunbeds no problem everyday and most seats were in view of the whole pool. The food was nice, always fresh and plenty of choice for both the kids and adults. The all inclusive menu was good, including pool snacks and a small choice of ice cream and lollies. The service at times was poor and could be waiting to order for 20 minutes and if you went to the bar to order they would sent you away! The entertainment was great for the kids, pirate shows, magicians and even the pirates invading breakfast. The animation team were brilliant. . I would high recommend this hotel especially those with a young family!

If I was reviewing the staff or the pool area this would have been a 5, but since I have to take into account everything I can only really give it a 3.

First off - the pool is amazing! My 3.5 yr old daughter loved it! It was her first holiday abroad and she thought everything about it was amazing! The waiters were also fantastic, 1 of the men in particular took the time to make a fuss over my little boy every day - I wish I could remember his name but he was lovely! They were worked really long hours too and he told me he got 1 day off per fortnight!! Some of the bar staff were not so good and were quite rude, but they were probably knackered!

The room was nothing fancy, but it did it's job for a week.

The food I have to say was not great! In my opinion the dining area was not big enough to cater for all inclusive. There was not enough tables/chairs and there was not enough space to put all the food. A few people have mentioned it being samey and they were right!

Some of the people that were there when we went were vile! So for this reason I could never return. My 2 children loved this place so we made the best of it. There was plenty of shops to see in the surrounding area and the beach was just a few minute walk away.

I don't envy the staff that run the children's club. They are always around! early till late with a trail of children following if they dare move anywhere. The child friendly hard sell was the only bit that was on the ball and my three loved every second. The redesigned old style hotel still has at least half to do, so the reception and pool is all new and the rest is twenty years young. Although our room was ok in size it lacked any chance of having a comfortable sleep. The food looked good and there was always the quantity it was just the actual taste, maybe some of the budget would have been better put to use for some better ingredients. We felt that the children were well catered for but our holiday was dull, dull, dull. The beach is good and you can still swim if you're made of strong stuff. Lots of local shops for souvenirs and coffee in the sun.

October Midterm break we booked 3 apartments for 4 adults 2 children all inclusive.

On arrival and all through our stay the lady receptionist was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful (top marks there) Room's clean and basic, just need upgrading. For a hotel so big you definitely need more than 1 toilet in your downstairs reception/restaurant area.

The hotel was fully booked while we were there and the restaurant staff and bar staff were rushed off their feet, from morning until late at night and always with a smile. The food was plentiful but at times the main meat dishes were below par, I think due to the volume of customers and quality of ingredients.

The pools are fantastic our children loved every part of them. The Pirates what can we say FANTASTIC a huge effort each and every time they were around. Loved the scary tunnel.

The Children's Club/Entertainers WOW now this is were ample praise needs to be given, 110% each and every day, Simon the manager a great people person with kids and adults . Robert kept all going through the day and evening a great guy :) Angie worked hard with the children. We are keeping Ellie for last, as she is the best asset Pirates Village has, and we would come back next year in the hope that she will be on the staff list, above and beyond caring to the children, kept them well engaged throughout the day and night, our children keep talking about what a fun time they had in the kids club with her (they didn't want to leave) She made this the best holiday ever for them.

This hotel has had a big renovation since the last time we were in Majorca. From the main road it's a showstopper and I paid out a good wad of money hoping for a new, fun palace for the kids. We really only got half a holiday, the state of the rooms and other areas around the complex that are unfinished made it grind on my nerves and it was difficult to try and ignore for the kids sake. However, trying to be fair they loved the swimming antics and pirate show and the kids games were managed well all week. Shame they can't get the kids manager to come and clean the rooms, only twice a week clean sheets, the beds could be used as a torture for prisoners, and the food was really, really bad. Kids gave it 9, we gave it 2.

we stayed here in August we had three apartments between us,6 adults 3 children. We found apartments were basic but clean. they were cleaned 6 days out of 7 and staff were very friendly. The pool area was always busy with children and is really not suited for elderly people seeking a relaxing holiday. Our kids found the slides brilliant they were in the water from 10am to 5pm every day. The pirate shows were enjoyed by all. We were self catering but did eat at pool bar a good few days and food was good and reasonable. There is a good supermarket across the road and even bigger one 3 mins up the road. its about 8 min walk to beach but we found the beach not the cleanest and the cost for sunbeds was away too expensive for a dirty beach, but have to say the water was like being in a hot tub it was lovely

Room Tip: all rooms face onto pool area

Rooms beyond basic and only services twice in a week. Staff very good. Food good but bit sameish. All main hotel areas kept very clean. Need more toilets downstairs. Overall, I would say it is good but a little way off great. A few adjustments, and a refurbishment of rooms, would make this fantastic if you have young children. Plus......please find way to heat pool!! Great weather on Oct half term but too cold to swim!
