Me and my mam booked this for us to have a girls holiday together, we read the reviews and loved the location of the hotel.. the first moment we arrived we were greeted by a young woman who acted very coldly towards us, our room was absolutely Beautiful, we were on the bottom floor which give us access to the Jacuzzis which was lovely.

myself and my mother found that around the pool it was extremely quiet as if people were afraid to even talk, the staff were not very friendly, and the atmosphere was just uncomfortable, we ended up using the hotel next door as our hotel for the 10 days(they didn't mind as we are regulars at the hotel every year) but unfortunately they had to space avaible.

I wouldn't stay here again, but that's from personal experience as I know people that have stayed here and loved it.

if you enjoy having some fun, and a quite laugh with your family or friends maybe not the best hotel to book for a holiday!

Spent 3 nights in the hotel with 19 friends for our friends hen party weekend. Hotel is fab. Pool area great with various different sun bathing areas. Rooms were clean and adequate. Our room had balcony with view of the beach and looking onto the Jacuzzis which is for private use of upgraded rooms on bottom floor we were told. The breakfast was continental style with plenty of choices with boiled and scrambled egg included. Toaster bit slow. The bar area is lovely but prices for drink a bit high with 5euros for just a vodka. Bar food available. The bar staff were lovely with a special mention for Salek for putting up wi 20 mad women always wi a polite smile. The hotel is in an ideal location with just a 5min walk down to the beach area and a strip of good selection of restaurants and shops. The busy strip at other end of the bay is about a 15min walk away but be warned more for the young and young at heart but still good selection of bars and eateries. I would defo visit this hotel again and can highly recommend.

Room was a bit small for a superior room. We were overlooking a car park and next doors pool area. Quite a noisy place. We were woken on two different nights by other guests arguing, fighting and banging on doors. Room also smelled of damp.
We were disappointed to find that the Jacuzzi by the pool in the website photos had been relocated to the private garden which we overlooked but couldn't use and was only available if you upgraded to an expensive chill out room.
Bar prices were expensive at 18 euros for two gin and tonics. We will not return.

What appealed to us about this hotel was it was adult only, but on arrival we were very disappointed. First there are no lifts and we were on the top floor, only 3 floors, but reception stairs up to the first floor okay, but then 2 futher very narrow stairwells to get your suitecases up, not a good start to the holiday. Room was not great, floor needed a good vaccum, we found a pack of pills on the floor under the curtains. The bathroom was very small and no where to put anything, our shower cubicle leaked and the toilet smelt. Bath towels were old and like using sand paper. Balcony not really big enough (on our floor anyway), just about get 2 chairs and a table on, but no room to maneuver, also the shutter doors were missing! Back to the room, the wardrobe is not tall enough, so if you have any nice long dresses, they will get creased. Also no where to store 2 big suitcases. Room really could have done with smarting up, modernising and certaintly a deep clean and refresh.
Good points - lovely pool area, great location, close to town, but on the downside you can hear the noise from town at night. Good continential breakfast, staff pleasant, comfortable bed, clean bedding. We were disappointed with the hotel on the whole especially for what we had paid. Santa Ponsa a very nice place.

Room Tip: don't choose room on top floor

We didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment. If you stay here you will not be disappointed.
