Stayed at Bon Repos with my friend for a long weekend and we both loved the hotel. The hotel is, as described, a boutique hotel. It is small but very clean and decorated beautifully. The pool area in particular was gorgeous. There was a good mixture of nationalities staying at the hotel and we found the guests respectful and got chatting to several of them. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile.
We paid extra to have breakfast and a balcony, which I would recommend. We found the room was an adequate size and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was a little tired but functional. The balcony was the perfect size for 2 and we enjoyed a few glasses of wine in the evening there before heading out for dinner.
The breakfast selection was very good. Yes the toaster is slow but aren't toaster machines in hotels always a bit naff!?
The road up to the hotel is a bit steep so not ideal for those with mobility issues but we had no problem with it at all and found the location ideal. Couple of minute walk to the shops, bars and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet.
We both thought the hotel was a bit of a gem and both intend to return!
