My boyfriend and I stayed at the CSP for a week all inclusive, we weren't impressed with the hotel, rooms, food or entertainment.
The hotel is built on a hill so the room we were in was at the bottom, this meant that we did not have a balcony or a sea view. To get up to the main part of the hotel we had to climb steps. At the beginning of the week this was fine but towards the end it was very annoying, especially when the food and drink when you got there wasn't the best!
Our room faced onto a path which led to a main road, at night as there was NO AIR CONDITIONING in the room we'd have to sleep with our door open and just a shutter for security, we never felt safe, particularly on the last night.
The food was never great it always tasted the same no matter what it was. Also one morning when they had obviously ran out of bacon they served grilled slices of processed picnic ham instead!!! The beer was unnamed, as was the wine and none of these tasted good.
The entertainment was very bad, I would definitely say not aimed at anyone from the UK.
On the plus side because the hotel was so bad we ended up spending as much time away from it as possible and discovered some gorgeous beaches and will definitely return to Mallorca!!

This is the first time I have written a review, but wanted to as I was so worried before my hol about the CSP, due to some very negative comments I had read.

We have just arrived home after a 10 night AI stay, Myself, husband, 3 daughters 7,5 &1 and my parents. We had a great time.

The hotel is not the best I have ever stayed at, but to be fair for the price we paid we more than had our monies worth!

We booked last minute, two apartments, I emailed the hotel and requested two rooms close together and that we didnt want to be walking up and down steps etc. Result. two rooms located right by the swimming pool (had to watch baby very carefully, but fab room location), so no steps to climb. Apartments massive, with hob, and fridge. very very clean, maid in every day except Thurs and Sun. Decor scheme not great, but freshly painted and reasonably well maintained. Cots for baby not the best, but experience has taught me thats what you seem to get in Spain.

The food was fine, lovely on more than a couple of occasions, plenty for all the fussy eaters in our party. Once or twice the restaurant got very busy, however this seemed to be when new arrivals crossed with people going home. Plenty to eat and drink.

The bar staff were lovely, my 5yr old loved being able to get her own drinks and ice creams herself and the bar staff became her friends!

The entertainment was not great, a little cheesy, however the entertainers worked so so hard, and the kids loved it! Mini disco very repetative, but thats what kids seem to like. My children went to the mini club twice a day, the staff were fantastic with them.

Reception staff also fab, so helpful with anything from needing to see the doc (my daughter did, we were sent to a local clinic for which we saw a doctor who spoke perfect english, no charge e111 was all we needed, and were back at the hotel within the hour, and we walked !) to recomending excursions.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill, but we walked into Santa Ponsa most days, and the children did not complain, however if you are not so good on your pins a taxi cost 3 euros, so not a prob. The veiws from the hotel are amazing, and Santa Ponsa is a lovely place.

The only downside (and it isnt really) was that we were almost the only English guests for most of our hol. Mostly Dutch, with a few Germans and Polish. They were nearly all lovely, saying hello, no pushiness etc, very reserved. Considering my children do not speak any other language, they managed to make friends.

In conclusion, we paid a small price but got a great holiday.

It is a very nice 3 star hotel, nothing to special but you cant expect too much from 3 star property. Clean, spacious apartments, small bar and restaurant but very nice and helpful people working there. This hotel is not a good choice for people with walking difficulties or families with small children as it is located on a very steep hill.
Santa Ponsa is lovely little town we would go back, but before the peak season. Club Santa Ponsa is taken by German tourists but they were very nice and quiet. All inclusive basis - we have quite enjoyed our food, it was a typical AI meals. If you are looking for proper Spanish food there are sea food restaurants just ask at a reception. Overall we were very happy there, it was a very good bargain. We got what we paid for.

The holiday was completely ruined by theft from our double-locked secure room on the 6th night. There was no forced entry--a key was used!! We were not the only victims either. We were all leaving the following day and had consequently bought gifts to bring home. The only safes at reception were too small to hold our purchases. I learned later that this is a regular occurence so be warned. There is obviously no security-the hotel seems to be an open house!!
