Went with a group of friends, staff were never helpful always cheeky, apart from an English women on reception who was helpful the two days we seen her and all the hotel did was complain all the time about noise, which tbh wasn't that bad, were on holiday! Rooms were big and really good but that's about it, the steps to the hotel were annoying especially in the heat, there fine at night time if your drunk and don't realise how long it takes to get up them, also paying for the sunbeds and if the life guard isn't around the pool you have to stand an wait for them to come back, wouldn't be back if someone give me a free stay, nightmare hotel!

Stayed here with my husband and 3 children, good little apartments, pool was small and I was astonished you had to rent sunloungers??
Still we made the most of it, not much in entertaining but the square is food for families, if you turn left outside the main entrance you will reach the square to the right of the bottom of the hill, or you could take the dreaded stairs, they are horrible in the blazing heat, even for the fittest person.
Staff we're very helpful in vista club in general. Mrs Murphy's kitchen is the best for food :)

Just came back after a week stayin here with my fella n 3kids oldest being 15 then 10,7 nice big rooms n balconies the bath was clean but the shower was a waste of time it the water came out spurting everywhere n the shower head was full of soap scum n not very fast , service on reception cudve been better, no bar or supermarket ever opened no entertainment on for anyone pool bar closed at 8pm, the steps were a bit of a nightmare we even walked up them 2x a day ,wasn't impressed with the pool area as the Irish just seemed to take over n cudnt get any loungers which I might of hired if I was willing to pay the €2 each day , the kids n myself couldn't relax at the kids pool as there were adults all around even tho they didn't have any kids with them felt as though we were gettin watched all the time ,very noisy apartments again full of the irish slamming doors at 5am n playin music n shouting , only ate once at pool bar as it was overpriced n not very nice , we ate at sunburger a few times lovely Indian staff really friendly ,we ate at The Glasgow up near the square who do gorgeous Sunday dinner n apple pie with either ice cream or custard for €8.50well worth it it was very fillin, also ate at Katie's bar n kitchen a couple of times ,really enjoyed Santa ponsa loads of nightlife everybody really friendly .lovely beach also but to hire 2 sun loungers under a umberella cost €13.50 which was a bit steep we just sat on the sand wud defo go back but wudnt stay at these apartments again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above the 3rd floor lovely views of the bay n beach

We stayed here from 23rd september for 10 nights. This is our first stay in majorca and Vista Club. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly.we stayed in block 2. 4th floor in a studio apartment. On entering our apartment we where suprised how spacious the room was consisting of 2 single beds together
A large kitchen area. Clean bath/shower.dining table for 4 and a view over the pool area. The maids came every 3 days with fresh towels and emptied bins.if the bin got to full we emptied ourselves no problem. As for the steps to the town there is a free bus that stops outside the hotel at given times check with reception.but otherwise a taxi is available for 3 € or that extra few minutes to walk around. Fantastic resort with plenty of bars and restaurants but worth taking the time to check various prices. We will be back to vista club in january 2014 and may with our son and his fiance as we where that impressed. A great place for families lynda and peter mitchell xxx

I've rated this a 4 for value for money rather than the star of this hotel which is probably a 2/3.

I was really impressed with this hotel for the price. We all had visions of the Inbetweeners Movie with the ants nest considering the price but we were all surprised and very relieved! Every one of us (8) said we would go back for a short break.

It was very clean, I was with a friend of mine who has OCD cleaning and she was happy with the cleanliness, which is usually a good test. The Pool area was nice and again it was clean. The food was a little disappointing especially when we could get much nicer food for less in Santa Ponsa but if you can’t be bothered to go out it was ok.

We were in a group of 8 and they upgraded 2 studios to 2 one bedroom apartments instead so we could be in the same block. I was in the studio on the 6th floor which had lovely views over the sea and being on the top the balcony had direct sunshine, if I booked this again I would ask for the top floor. The rooms were basic but pretty big and had a sofa, table and chairs to sit and eat, a kitchen and furniture on the balcony. My other half would be disappointed at the lack of TV but that really wasn’t an issue for me or my friends. The check-out was 12 which meant we could have a lie-in on the last day and they had a free courtesy room with a couple of showers which was ideal to leave your luggage and freshen up before going home, this was great as we didn’t fly until 9.30pm so we had a whole day sunbathing before coming back and getting ready to leave.

We were away for a weekend at the end of September and it was great for a short break, I probably wouldn’t book this for a whole week personally as I like a little more luxury but it was ideal for a weekend.

The only real down side is the steps but you can walk around the road way which wasn't that much further and a nice walk, we also found a really nice restaurant on our walk called Manalos which did really nice Spanish Food.

Yes the Steps are hard work and all of us had sore calves after the weekend but it wasn't the end of the world and if we didn't want to walk them we went the road way. It wouldn't put me off booking this again.

We went to Magaluf on the first night and it was 10 Euros in a taxi, if you are like us and want to have a big night out but don’t want to stay in the middle of Magaluf it was really easy to get to and the hotel reception rang a taxi for us. We went out in Santa Ponsa on the second night and we ate at Manalos previously mentioned and we went into Santa Ponsa, there is a mixture of bars and restaurants from bars to sit and chill with a drink to more lively bars with dancing. It’s not Magaluf and nowhere near as full on but there is some nightlife.

I'm not really sure what people expected who have given this a bad review considering the price of this hotel as overall I would say great value for money for a weekend or short stay. If you want a 4/5 star hotel then pay more!

Room Tip: If you want a view and sunshine on the balcony then ask for the top floor, the views were really nic...
