These apartments are spotless and close to the beach via some steps and slopes, but if you use the bottom entrance close to the nearby filling station you are on the beach in less than five minutes,

They are well maintained and spotless with everything you need in the apartment, including a coffee maker. The equipment and finish is higher quality than some cheaper apartments.

Daniela on reception monday to saturday 10-12 is very helpful indeed, she is German and this is a german report, not a problem for us, but English is spoken less amongst the waiters and hotel staff, however, it is not an issue, you get by.

Near to plenty of shops and restaraunts, if you want a quiet holiday with comfy apartments which are fairly quiet, this maybe for you, There is no pool snack bar or any bar, but you can go to the beach garden apartments nearby, but we didn't bother as there are coffee shops, bars and restaraunts just down from the apartments or right on the beach,

In the downside the sea view is from an angle and not all the apartments are in the best line for the sun all day, but you can get sun till late into the evening by the pool and on the beach.

Me and my partner just returned from a perfect two week stay at the Punta Marina.

The apartments themselves are set in a quiet area with beautiful views of the mountain and the sea. The area is quiet,(aside from a slightly yappy dog) and secured by a security gate which you have a key card for. The pool is immaculately kept and we were often the only ones there having the pool completely to ourselves. The rooms are fantastic, spacious and kept clean. The cleaners came most days and changed the bedding every other day, they were also friendly and polite. The rooms are set over three floors and the bedroom itself is a great size it also came with an optional safe if you felt you needed it. The apartments came with a hob, fridge/ freezer, kettle, cafatiere, toaster, glasses, plates and cups if you wished to cook (we didnt). All rooms also had a balcony with sun loungers and table and chairs. The only minor downside was that the rooms came without air conditioning and it did get pretty hot some nights.

The beach is a few minutes walk, we did find that sun loungers were expensive (12 euros for two loungers and brolly) but we just used towels and got along just fine. Jandia itself is beautiful and from exploring the whole island had the most stunning beaches with beautiful blue sea. The town itself is divided into the old town and a more modern town, the old town is great for fish restaurants on the sea front. The newer town has lots of shops and more restaurants. There are a few bars and one in particular in the cosmo shopping complex called Latina is something special, run by a lovely german couple. We did feel that Jandia is especially catered for the Germans, but this wasnt a problem and all menus came in English and we got by just fine. There were plenty of places that did traditional spanish food but again most places were catered for Germans rather than the cultural experience.

The punta marina was great value for money and I can honestly say on returning there is no where else I would have wanted to stay. The staff are brilliant and helpful and even leave you a gift when you leave, which was so lovely. If I was to return, I would definitely return to this hotel and love every minute! Thank you everyone at Punta Marina!!

Room Tip: They recogmmend you sleep with windows and doors shut but it gets so hot, ideally get off the ground floor so you feel safer sleeping with doors open.

My wife and I spent a week during April staying at the Punta Marina apartments. I can honestly say the stay was great and we enjoyed every moment.
The apartments were so clean and quiet and just a great place to stay if you want to be able to be close to the Beach and the town
No constant stream of people coming and going all through the night as you get with the large Hotels and complex's.
If you want good priced accommodation and a good clean environment then this is for you. It's for couples not for families but that's what makes it appealing.

My wife and I have booked up again and we can't wait .

10/10

Room Tip: All rooms have pool and sea view but the higher the better we always find. No fitness centre so remove from rating.

This was our 4th visit to the Punta Marina apartments and yet again we had a wonderful stay here, they are spotlessly clean and nothing is too much trouble for anyone to do for you.Daniela and Carmen on reception are both so nice to speak to and will do anything to help you.We have stayed in 4* hotels where you do not get such good service .looking forward to our next visit hopefully later this year

Room Tip: all apts are the same layout but beware of the steps as there are a lot to climb whichever one you stay in
