“Authentic place”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

This is a little restaurant with a great warm and friendly service. The interior is very authentic (Spanish tavern).
Of course you have to try the roast lamb! but if you do not like Lamg, try the Salmon. Great Value.
The Staff is attentive.
What else would you want? Don't miss out!

“Good Spanish Restaurant”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

Good Spanish restaurants are hard to come by in PDI. However this is a good one. Good ambience, excellent service etc. As per previous reviews the lamb is superb. My wife had the king prawns which she said where amongst the best she has had. Ate here twice in the week.
Definitely go again.

“The best restaurant in Playa del Ingles”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

This is a lovely family run restaurant close to the centre of Playa del Ingles. We ate here twice during our week long stay. I had a different lamb dish each time we ate here - both of these were utterly delicious. If I ever come back to Gran Canaria I will try to return!

“You gotta go here”
Reviewed 2 March 2014 via mobile

This little restaurant in playa del ingles is fabulous.

The roast lamb is to die for and has the most intense flavour. It is traditionally slow cooked with potatoes and the meat falls off the bone.

The waiting staff are very polite and nobody is standing outside trying to force you inside.

“Great lamb”
Reviewed 2 March 2014

Playa del Ingles is full of samey restaurants, all with vast international menus. Las Cumbres is therefore a treat - a traditional Spanish, family restaurant that doesn't feel the need to cater for every cuisine on the planet. It's a bit hidden away but well worth seeking out as the lamb cutlets are some of the best I've ever eaten anywhere, accompanied by stunning Boulangère potatoes. My partner rated the roast lamb highly too. For starters, do try the hams, which hang in a room at the end of the restaurant. The decor is quirky and dated but this just adds to the charm of a place that's surrounded otherwise by modern tourist blocks and garish, neon-fronted eateries. Friendly staff too.
