Coach picked us up on time, driver and guide very friendly. Took ages picking up from loads of other hotels. There were only three stops during the day and we felt very rushed, maybe because so long had been spent picking up? First part of tour is through the mountains on narrow VERY winding roads so wouldn't recommend it if you get travel sick. All in all a good way to see the island but not a relaxing day at all. Also found it annoying that tour guide had to repeat everything in three different languages, got a bit much after 8 hours! Cost 29 euros each.

Half day trip market trip to Puerto de Mogan, with a short visit to Puerto Rico to take photos..Puerto Mogan was very busy because of the market but it was pretty...our guide (21st March) was very helpful, funny and friendly. Thanks.

Not too expensive really for a day out exploring the island....only thing was that all the 'stops' were rather pointless, brief and 'cheap' . We enjoyed the Rum tasting, but the tour around the distillery was over in 5 minutes! We went to two churches - both lovely but rather similar! The weather was bad which may have affected my rating. Lunch was in a very crowded place and if you wanted anything other than a 3 course meal, e.g. soup and roll, the choice was rubbish and not hot!

Tour guide and driver were really friendly and zany. We did the gran canaria highlights which takes you to aruechas rum distillery, teror village, roque nublo and through the mountains.

The distillery was a bit disappointing as nothing was in operation although you do get the chance to taste 20 rum varieties which was fun :)

Teror village was really pretty and in hindsight we would have wanted to have lunch here but there was not time. Instead the tour takes you further up the road to an isolated restaurant without warning you of this. You are faced with the choice of having a 10.50 euro set menu or sitting for an hour by the side of the road. We had the set menu (salad, pork and chip, water melon, water and wine) which was ok but we'd probably have had something smaller given the choice.

After lunch the tour continues through the mountains which are spectacular but the road is very windy and a few people felt sick. It also becomes rather samey after a couple of hours.

Overall ok tour to see the island but wouldn't do another one.

Negative: I wish I had seen the other reviews before booking. My husband and I got up early to catch the coach for an island tour. We were at the meeting point 15 mins early. The coach showed up 15 mins late. The tour guide exited the bus, I walked up to her with email confirmation of my booking and our 20 Euro deposit in my hand. She told me there was only one couple on the list and (literally) waved us out of the way so another couple could board. She told us we were not on her list and we were booked on another tour. The coach left us standing there. I should tell you, I was 7 months pregnant at the time.

Positive: We contacted the booking office and David was absolutely wonderful. He apologized several times and offered to get us on another tour and buy us lunch. Unfortunately we already had something booked for the day the tour ran and weren't able to take him up on the offer. The made sure we received a refund the very next day.
