I really don't know why this hotel is only three star. I've stayed in four star hotels that weren't a patch on this. The rooms are enormous, however no aircon but 2 fans that more than suffice. They are almost silent, and cleaner than aircon, but that's my personal choice. Food was excellent with a huge choice. Would recommend steak on a hot stone for lunch from pool bar. Two choices of evening entertainment. Pool area spotless with no fighting for beds. Lots to do including mini golf, a gym, a squash court and the most amazing wellness centre below the pool. Choice of four bars in the evening. We were AI but went out of an evening because literally ten minute walk to both Jumbo and Kasbha and a couple of minutes from three or four nice bars.
The AI option even included premium drinks so no Spanish vodka or gin for us. Highly recommend and will return (which is something we seldom do)

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely but if you like sun in morning go for odd numbers and even numbers for evening

Great location, fantastic facilities and 90% of the staff are amazing and cannot do enough for guests! A special mention for our amazing cleaning lady Isabel, always working so hard! The entertainment staff also helped make our 11 day stay so much fun! Food was fantastic with lots of different choice. The only major let down was the hotels respone/reaction to an awful family that we unfortunately had the displeasure of meeting. Four British families had run ins with this particular lot and when things finally got to a head the management didn't take it seriously! Such a shame as it really let the hotel down! Do not put your room keycard anywhere near a mobile as the stop working immediately

We had a braw time in this Hotel, and the meals where good and varied.
Arriving late around after ten we had a cold supper which was still a pleasant surprise
The beds where rather soft or my liking, but for size they where great.
Not sure why the British TV stations went off on the third day of our holiday , no BBC or ITV, Told by hotel that the whole of Gran Canarie was out for UK telly.

Staff helpful, pleasant and accommodating and overall all good.
Four lifts with three buttons and you have to rapidly figure out which one will come, not readily noticeable, you have to watch the light.

Really loved the jacuzzi on floor 8, it’s a real good little addition.
Hotel proving coach to the two nearest beaches which is handy.
Good friendly hotel. Pool was good and I think nice to chill around.

Room Tip: Smaller numbers will mean nearer the lift. Try avoiding 356. 358 you’ll be directly above nightly entertainment

We stayed here during the UK half term break and had an absolutely fantastic break. As a family of four who booked for the first time in the Canaries, we had high hopes of some off-peak sunshine until Google and the BBC dashed our hopes by claiming the week would be dominated by clouds and temperatures of around 17 degrees! Thankfully they were spectacularly wrong and the weather was absolutely gorgeous and set us up for a brilliant holiday.
We arrived at the hotel late on a Thursday night and was checked in with no fuss at all. We took the lift to our room on the seventh floor to find a double bed (or two singles) and two further beds in the lounge area for the children. A coffee table, fitted wardrobes, TV, dressing table and spacious balcony made up the rest of the room along with the spacious and spotlessly clean bathroom.

We stayed on an all-inclusive basis which meant we could indulge in too much food and drink at will. The food here is absolutely delicious - the buffet breakfast is lovely and caters for everything from a cooked breakfast down to continental plus there is a lady literally squeezing fresh oranges full time to give jugs of orange juice. We ate lunch on the stunning courtyard area where food is cooked fresh to order – steaks, kebabs, pizza, salads and much more all cooked to perfection. In the evening we ate at the buffet which was again superb – live-cooking every night (usually pasta, rice or fish dishes), roast dinners, steaks, pork chops and much, much more were on offer plus the usual pizza, nuggets and so on. Considering this is ‘only’ a three star hotel the food way surpassed our expectations – even down to the pool side bar who served foot long hotdogs, great burgers and much more.

Facilities wise, there is a small infants pool, a childrens pool and the main pool (with the latter providing a life guard). There is mini golf, an indoor arcade with pool tables, a gym, spa, hot tubs and whirl pools, a roof terrace/Jacuzzi (including nude zone) and a somewhat obsolete cyber bar.

The children’s entertainment was OK with various activities throughout the day such as shuffleboard competition, mini golf competition, play-doh sessions, colouring sessions and pool games. In the evening there is a somewhat repetitive mini-disco which plays the same half a dozen songs every night but the kids absolutely love it and went down a story.

The local area is really nice too – you’re about a ten minute stroll down to maspalomas beach and there’s lots to see and do across the sea front. There’s water parks in the area, camel rides, the Playa Del Ingles sand dunes and much much more to do.

All in all we had a fantastic week here which really exceeded our expectations. We’d definitely not hesitate to recommend this to others with kids – go book it now!
