“Fantastico”
Reviewed 21 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

This was our second stay here and it’s still great. Maria, the lovely owner has updated a few things since we stayed a couple of years ago, which is always a good sign of a conscientious and reliable owner. There is a new frig/ freezer (large enough for plenty of fresh and frozen food), new washing machine (same model as before 7kg capacity) and best of all WiFi, the speed of which is amazing and puts BT in the UK to complete shame. We were there for 5 weeks this time and it was so peaceful. Most of the people seemed to be Northern Europeans, escaping bad weather at home, so we were listening to many variations of language. We were the only English couple there but everyone was extremely friendly which created a nice atmosphere.

Please read my review from 2015 for more info about the facilities and location etc.

Useful tip, if you want to go to Las Palmas, El Corte Ingles runs a courtesy bus for visitors from Yumbo Centre, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 10.30am. You can book a return in-store for 5pm if you have made a purchase. (Check first to make sure it’s still operating) It’s about €6 per person one way if you use the local bus and from the store it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to most sights and Santa Catalina bus station (for return journey if you don’t want to use courtesy bus). We also caught the 60 bus to the Atlantico shopping centre (hourly 2.20 each way). It’s a large mall with decent stores and a large Carrefour. Bus stops right outside and it’s the same stop to return, laden with your purchases)

Enjoy a relaxing stay at Maria’s bungalow in Atindana Fase ll, you won’t regret it.

“Excellent as ever”
Reviewed 9 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

This gated property has so much going for it, if you like being in a well appointed apartment in a central location that has a large pool and is relatively quiet, that it is getting increasingly difficult to get a booking. Guests stay for ever longer periods (we stayed 6 weeks) and therefore with just a few bookings, most of the year is soon taken. The other apartments were taken by Germans and other Northern Europeans, in particular Scandinavians, who come for 3 months or so to avoid the cold and dark winters at home. We were the only English there as far as I was aware. The communal grounds are very well cared for with the gardens and pool being regularly maintained. Perhaps the only criticism would be that the sun loungers around the pool have seen better days and could do with replacing. However, few people sit around the pool, it is usually empty when we have been up there, so maybe it is had to justify. We did see a Hoopoe (a very distinctive bird) rooting on the lawn outside the apartment in the early morning so that was a very pleasant bonus.

“### lovely peaceful break ###”
Reviewed 1 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

what can we say, Maria and 'Mama' are a delight, greeted us on arrival and saw us safely off to the airport, on the day we left for home

the complex is very central, secure (including off-street parking for our rental car) and the air-con was much welcomed . . . the bungalow was spacious and well equiped . . . we particularly loved the kitchen and its "utility area" aside to it . . . and was the most spotlessly clean rental we have 'ever' booked . . . a totally delightful week !!!!!!

“Perfectly formed,well located accommodation”
Reviewed 7 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This bungalow is perfectly formed and well situated for those who want to be in the heart of Playa del Ingles, near shopping centres and beach. The fact that the bungalow offers its own parking with remote control to enter gates is particularly useful especially when it gets busy if you want a car at your disposal, though not necessary. You can easily walk to the beach and the compound and resort is accessible. The bungalow is very well stocked with everything you could need. For those who wish to sunbathe there are beds at the pool and two for the bungalow though you have to put them on the communal grass to get the sun. The boiler is a bit small but efficient meaning you have to leave a short time between showers but not a problem. The bungalow has excellent wifi which had consistent high speed allowing us to use a number of devices at the same time including TV which has a number of HDMI and USB ports. We would certainly return.

“Fantastic truly Spanish experience”
Reviewed 25 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Short review: owner Maria great, bungalow great, clean, well equipped, comfy beds, large covered private terrace. Gated complex, quiet, attractive grounds, pool large, small kiddies pool. Shops, bars, cafes, buses, beach all within 10 minute walk. Aircon. No wifi, no hair drier, no maid service, no parasols round pool. Thoroughly recommend.

Long review: Maria, the owner responds quickly to emails & met us at the gates with her daughter who speaks English. The outside of the gated complex looks somewhat austere but once inside all 50 or so attached bungalows are set in attractive gardens which are well maintained with only pedestrian access in the centre so safe for kiddies. Our bungalow, 230 was at the end of the path so fairly private. A large number of the bungalows have permanent residents and the rest are 2nd homes or holiday rentals. It's largely Spanish with a smattering of Germans and very friendly. We wished we'd known more Spanish (other than dos cana por favor) to really get to know people.

Maria is charming and had left us a few groceries and a lovely plate of fresh fruit. Very kind & most welcome. There are 2 bedrooms with twin beds with really comfy mattresses. Plenty of wardrobe space and lots of towels, sheets, blankets etc. The kitchen is well equipped, oven, 4ring hob, microwave, large frig freezer. No dishwasher so I had to make do with the old fashioned temperamental model called a husband. Plenty of equipment and storage. Bathroom has bidet, small shower cubicle, no hair drier, and a washing machine, the like of which I have never since but it works well. Washing line and pegs outside. Lounge has sofa and easy chair and TV with satellite connection. Didn't use it but guess no English channels. No wifi. Tiled throughout. Very clean and well maintained. Aircon in the main bedroom and another unit for the lounge and 2nd bedroom. Plenty of cleaning stuff etc, no maid service so it's up to you to keep things clean. There is a good size covered terrace outside with a table and chairs and 2 sun loungers overlooking the gardens and quite private. Not much sun reaches it but that's a blessing. The pool is close and a really good size, 3/4 being above 1.8M with steps and ladders. Mostly in the week we had it to ourselves. Small kiddies pool, couple of showers and plenty of sun loungers which are chained together and to be fair have seen better days. There are no parasols and not a great deal of shade. You may hear some noise in the street outside in the early hours as revellers ricochet home, otherwise quiet.
Location is great, no more than a 10 minute walk to most things. Spa and Hiperdino supermarkets 5 mins (left) or large Mercadona, Lidl, Spa, Chinese shops over the Salamanca bridge. (Turn right, right, straight ahead, walk past Gordillo supermarket to bridge then left for Spa etc or right, left for Lidl, max 12mins). Yumbo centre right, left, straight over. Beach left, first right, downhill easy walk. Coming back walk as far as Atlantic club and take the lift up. Buses to Puerto Mogan 4.15 one way, Las Palmas 5.60 or 6.25. (Right, first right, bus stops either side, this side Las Palmas. & airport buses) Coming out we had a pre booked cab which cost 30Euros, 2 tickets on the 66 airport bus going home cost us 7 Euros and took about the same length of time, Canarian bus drivers don't hang about!

All in all we can thoroughly recommend a stay here.

located centrally with shops, restaurants, car hire offices, the beach, tourist information etc all a short walk away and in the sunniest part of the island. the accommodation is single storey, so no one above you, there.s a lovely terrace with table and chairs overlooking the garden along with sun loungers that have mattresses for a comfortable snooze,
A few steps through the lovely garden take you to the pool with more sun loungers and seating areas, the gardens are beautifully kept by a friendly gardener who comes round every morning. the accommodation was spotlessly clean and fully equipped except for a tea pot and kettle. ( A british thing)
All in all a fantastic place to stay and hope to return one day.
