As a budget option I wasn't expecting the Ritz or 5* service but this hotel seriously let my friend and I down in almost every conceivable way.

During our 7 night stay we've encountered exceptionally rude and unhelpful staff (except for a delightful English speaking lady on reception some days who was a joy). Upon asking for a second room key, we were told that this was possible but to come back the next day for it. After paying the deposit for it, the hotel staff pointed out a facility to mind our keys at reception; except during our stay they managed to misplace both keys without any explanation or assistance. Avoid leaving your keys or indeed anything at reception.

Our room was very clean and what we expected but our shower only seemed to provide hot water for the first minute. Despite reporting this numerous times nothing was done. On our penultimate day the shower head snapped off unexpectedly whilst I was taking a shower, we reported this again and was assured it would be fixed the next day f as you can guess nothing was done and no assistance offered.

The hotel location is not ideal; adjacent to the Kasbah Centre which bombards you with pushy sales people offering women, food, drugs and boat parties - it's also a fair trek from the yumbo centre and the beach, even our transfer coach didn't drop us off directly in front of it and we encountered many taxi drivers unaware of its location.

The pool was scandalously cold and no atmosphere was present in the pool area with no bar and no music of any kind allowed by the pool - definitely not a hotel if you like a good time by the pool.

The hotel did offer free WiFi in the lobby areas and a convenient washer/dryer room but that's the only major plus side really.

Spend the extra few pounds on a hotel with friendlier staff and a better location - this place wasn't worth the money we saved or spent. Avoid like the plague.

We stayed at this hotel in February for one week. This hotel truly takes you back a couple of decades!

We were greeted by an ignorant, lazy male Receptionist who took an age to check us in, handed us our room key and pointed in the general direction of the lift but gave no other indication of how to get to the room.

The hotel has a strange layout, there are lots of sliding doors and dark corridors to get through to get to the rooms.

We were given a ground floor apartment, sandwiched between permanent residents who like to play loud music and come and go at all hours of the day and night with no respect for others who may be sleeping. We had booked a 1 bed apartment and were expecting a separate bedroom but all that separates you from the rest of the room is a low partition wall. The beds were very uncomfortable and on the smaller side of a single. We did not receive any room service during our stay and were limited to two towels each over the week.

The swimming pool is seriously cold (although the time of year may have contributed to this), however it was clean and generally a nice area to laze around.

There are no facilities here apart from the swimming pool and a few vending machines.

If you are going out a little later on at night, be prepared to 'fight off' multiple prostitutes that hang around outside the main entrance.

On our day of departure, we were asked to vacate the room by 12 o'clock. We were 10 minutes late and just before leaving the room, received a very harsh and aggressive phone call from the Receptionist telling us to hurry up. We asked how to make a complaint about the way were spoken to and a few other things but suddenly the Receptionist spoke no English!

Don't be tempted to stay here by the cheap prices. Pay a little more and go to a Hotel that actually caters for its' guest and has general customer service skills.

Room Tip: There are no tips on how to make this an enjoyable stay, its terrible!

I chose to stay at this hotel because it was the cheapest in Playa Ingles. This hotel is an apartment style accommodation. A large, but not very comfortable building. Our studio was quite sufficient in size to stay for 2 people for 2 nights. It had a fairly large balcony with a view over the street opposite the ocean. There were some closets, sofa, table, 2 beds, a kitchen with electric stove and utensils. All rather modest and not new. On the premises there was a pool also.
The hotel has a good location - not far from the beach. Many shops, supermarkets, restaurants and nightlife entertainment are all in the vicinity. Airport bus stop is also close by. Considering the price, I can recommend this hotel as a budget option to stay in the tourist center of Playa del Ingles.

It was good for the value, but not all the rooms where the same, all the neighbours play full blast music during the day until 10pm (they get away with it cos they are residents) and if you want to find the night receltionist , your probably better looking for him outside.

The good side is that it is centrical to all the night clubs and amenities and that the pool area closes late.

Stayed here with my partner as it was cheap so we weren't expecting much we travelled with 4 friends, 1 was next to us and the others on the 5th floor . The door locks on each apartment door was sooo difficult to open as there no handle or door knob it's just a very small circle to try grip to open, basically If your room goes on fire......your jiggered!! Furniture was really dated like the sofa was bought in the never ending DFS sale back in the 1974 and the TV was probably the first coloured tv in existence with a big black box out the side for money to watch it 1€ an hour which I thought was a bit expensive . Now we thought it can't get worse but it seems the higher up you are the worst the rooms are as my friends on the 5th floor there where doors missing in the kitchen and big cracks with bits of plaster in the ceiling coming off!! And the pool..... WOW you couldn't see the bottom it was that clean (take that comment with a slice of irony and some drizzle of sarcasm ! The pool water hadn't been cleaned in donks an there's no pool bar either .... There must have been one but there's a sign saying "Se Vende" which means for sale so that's not a good sign. And when my friend asked to change the room all we got was "there's no rooms available "!! The only good part was it was close to the beach an supermarkets but isn't really I good place for children as we where constantly stopped by prostitutes and drug dealers 'not the hotels fault but none the less " the wifi is free but only if it works as it only works in reception so constantly crowded with folks with laptops it felt like I spent a week living in a Internet cafe . And the paint on the outside was peeling off QUITE BADLY have of it was yellow half white half mould, like a dulux colour wall chart!

The hotel is under renovation we got a phone call to say a couch was coming via our room up a rope to the third floor . We also invited our friends which were staying in the next hotel over for a drink before we went out one might and got screamed at by reception saying they had never seen us before although we had been the for ten days already . We were also the only British people here. No restaurant pool bar open . This place is a run down hotel which we will never go back to.
