Talking in general, Playa del Ingles is extremely and underdeservedly overrated.
Most of the hotels, restaurants, any kind of touristic venues are stale and dated and a little tacky.
Cita is the worst commercial center I've ever been.
As soon as you enter, you realise that it is dirty, smelly, you see a lot of dust on floor, everywhere.
The shops sell cheap tricks snd fake goods that you may find on the sidewalks or on the floor of a poor kasbah.
The vendors annoy and bother in a constant, persistent way.
We wanted to stop at least for a drink, to buy some water but..
Desolate, lonely and mostly older gay crowd kill their time, walking around incessantly like inmates in a dungeon...
It took us no more than 30 minutes to make our minds and leave.
It was a nightmare.

From the outside this shopping centre looks tired and tacky , venture inside and you will realise that it is!
But all is not lost. If you venture upstairs there are a few nice restaurants including a really good Italian.
Lots of interesting bars (mainly German}

It's a bit of a dim shopping experience with not many exciting shops! There's spar, hiperdino express and fund grube and lots of souvenir and electrical shops. Could do with a bit of a refit.I've heard the bars and restaurants aren't bad but not tried myself
