When we found out we were in IV rather than III there was a little disappointment but how wrong we were. Santiago IV is absolutely lovely and suited my family perfectly. Just when short walk of about 5 minutes from the main hub of Las Americas and Santiago III, this complex is peaceful, clean and ideally situated for a young family. We had a garden room which as you would expect was on the ground floor with a neat and tidy garden space. The room was well equipped with all the basics. The kettle was for use on the hob rather than electric and there wasn't a microwave however these can be easily rented through reception if you want them. The room was very clean and our daughters cot was made up with fresh linen and very comfy as it had a mattress. Towels are provided and changed daily aloning with your daily room service . The garden was part tiles and part artificial grass with a patio table/chairs and awning which provided shade. Just outside the gate was the pool area so easy to nip back to the room if needed.
The complex has two pools and more than enough sunbeds although this might not be the case in high season. There is one heated pool which despite the warm weather was very pleasant and much better for us as the main pool was too cold for our little girl. Unfortunately you can't have lilo's or balls etc. In this pool so you would need to use the "fun" pool for more raucous play. The lifeguard on duty is very keen and will speak to people who he feels are breaking any rules. While some may think that seems unfair it does mean there is calmer pool for the very young, people wanting a relaxing swim or those who just want some peace around the pool. The one negative of the pool area was the lack of shady places to sit and parosols only offer a little cover. Security also do spot checks as keep your room key or guest card with you.
You can use the bigger pool with water park in Santiago III if you want however we found it much busier and noisier. Our daughter at 18 months was also too to young to go on any of the slides so we stopped by our own pool.
The location is lovely. There are a selection of bars right outside the complex however a short few minutes walk in any direction will take you into the busier and cheaper restaurants and bars. The beach front is also on the doorstep as guests can use an entrance round the back which leads straight out to the beach. Famous Veroicas Strip is a fair walk but pleasant with many bars to stop at on the way.
If we were to visit this area again then we would stay here, it made our holiday even more enjoyable.

Room Tip: Garden rooms are private and secure so ideal for a young family. Try to request a pool side room as...

We traveled here at the end of June and on our booking form it said Parque Santiago 3 & 4.We assumed that these were in the same complex, but they aren't. They are only a short walk away from each other but they are two different hotels. We arrived at number 3 and were told we were actually in number 4 so had to walk down the road to check in. We arrived at 1pm and was told that check in was not until 2, but they had a room free and we could change to that room. We were in room 711 which was in the tower and there was a lift to take us up. We were in a studio room, but was shocked when we walked in to see the size. It was very spacious and everything seemed separated well. The bathroom was a little dated, but it was all clean and did the job. The balcony was a fair size, and it faced onto the road. This could be a little loud on a night, but didn't seem to bother us. The beds were really comfy as well, and felt like they had memory foam toppers on them.

We had an issue with the room one day, which was that the lock had broken and we couldn't get in. We went to reception who checked the keys and said there was nothing wrong with them, so they had to get the master key. We were let into the room, and an engineer eventually had to be called out. Reception couldn't be more apologetic, and kept us updated by ringing the room. It only took about an hour to sort out.

The pools were fantastic, and one of them is heater. There were also plenty of sunbeds, and we never had to get up early to get one. The pool bar was good as well, the food was nice but the drinks were slightly overpriced. We bought a bottle of pop in the supermarket next door and drank that around the pool.

There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel and you are never without anywhere to go. Most of the restaurants and bars around the hotel are owned by the Parque Santiago chain so are all the same price.

It is around a 15 min walk to the veronicas strip, which was very cheap and a good laugh. The joy of this hotel is that you are far enough away to not hear it, but close enough if you want to walk.

We also went to the market in Los Christianos on sunday which cost 6 euro in a taxi. It was also 6 euro to Aqualand.

We are already planning our trip back to Parque Santiago 4 next year.

On arriving we were dropped at Santiago parque 3 which is no more than 100 yards away we got to Santiago 4 where we stayed the reception staff were excellent got us checked in and safety deposit box and air conditioning unit all within about 5/10 mins the rooms are clean and cleaned daily bedding and towels changed we stayed on the 3rd floor over looking the pool and seas the views are stunning I would not recommend a ground floor as the majority of them look onto bushes and the bar outside the hotel is a kids play area and bar also a fountain which and the kids and BIG kids(adults) play in with flashing lights the only down side to holiday was pool has salty water which can sting eyes and not taste great on some occasions all in all would highly recommend parque Santiago for family's or couples

General... Good pool with enough sun beds even when hotel is full. Rooms are very clean. Staff on reception are great. All the restaurants and shops near are owned but parque santiago, therefore are overpriced. Walk down the street for the private ones. You may not get the room you booked even if you pay extra, I payed for 1 bed apartment and was given a studio. Had to move the next day, wouldn't give a refund for the difference in the room prices. Only offered safe or wifi.

Facilities....
The pool is fantastic, but is a little cold. You can use the pool at parque santiago 3, but unlikely to get a sun bed. The pool bar serves great food but is a little pricey. There is a supermarket next door which is again over priced. There is an iceland and a proper supermarket around 15 mins walk from apartments. Best to go here stock up and get a taxi back. Will save around 50 percent. There is also a gym on the bottom floor.

Rooms..
The rooms are dated but are spotlessly clean. The cleaners are great, they clean apartments every day and give fresh towels, but they don't do general tidying just cleaning. Safe is 20 euro a week with 10 euro deposit, a bit over priced. Wifi in rooms is 25 euro a week, but in majority of rooms it doesn't work, you can get refund within two hours if it is not working. Rooms come with no AC and the fans are set to slowest speed and can't be altered. In some apartments the fan isn't even over the beds. Some rooms get a good breeze if they are high up and near the sea. Portable AC can be rented for 60 euro per week or a fan for 20 euro per week. If you don't like your room just ask to move they always move you with no fuss. In peak season you can't keep you room for last day as all rooms are fully booked. You can go and ask for room at parque santiago 3 (but the staff there are not very nice) at 10am on the last day but your not guaranteed to get one, cost is 35 euro. There is one free shower room in parque santiago 4 just luck of the draw if you can get in to use it depending on number of people leaving the same day.

Room Tip: Rooms are luck of the draw, If you wan't to change just ask and they will be happy to help.

My boyfriend & *I (late 20's/30's)stayed here for a week. Room 2316 studio had great pool & sea views. Room had lovely lounge and dining area. Big bathroom & kitchen although compact had everything. Maid service fab-every day & v friendly. Only downpoint are the parasols by pool as they don't fit in sunbeds properly& fall. Apart from that all great! Pools are gorgeous & fab location. Reception staff really helpful. Reccomend to anyone!

We have just arrived home from a fabulous 11 nights in PS4.We had booked a studio and I had emailed ahead to see if we could have either a low floor or a room near a lift as my partner is disabled in PS4.Stayed in PS3 last time and fancied a change .On arrival we were told we would be in PS4,We were given room 2306.This room had view of both pools and the sea, What a great start to our holiday .The room had small kitchen with full size cooker, fridge with small freezer, It was very well equipt and you can hire various electric items from reception E g irons air con , microwaves, hairdryers, There was a separate bedroom area and sitting area with flat screen tv with various English chanals .The towels were changed every day beds had 3 lots of sheets through our stay and kept spotless by the young ladies that came in every day .There were two pools one of which was heated a kiddies play area pool tables and a gym in the complex, You could get drinks and snacks around the pools ,On site were dozens of shops bars and restaurants and you can use PS3 pools and facilities. this complex has everything to hand .The staff were very pleasant and you could even buzz the waiters to fetch drinks rather than go to the bar.will be back to this complex when back in Tenerife as it was right in the heart of the action ,just a short walk th Adeje or Christianos. This holiday cost less than 400pds for the apartments for the 2 of us so fantastic value.

Room Tip: we had a studio which was ample for 2 of us which was room 2306 fab views of both pools and the sea.
