Me and my husband spent our honeymoon at this hotel and what a great choice we made, the staff could not have been any nicer. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and that was beautiful clean and spacious, we also stayed all inclusive and the food was lovely with lots of choice there was even pancakes with chocolate which was heaven, the entertainment was just as expected with kiddie disco bingo and act to follow, you could pay another 10 euros a day to upgrade to named brand spirits. This is a wonderful resort and only 10mins from the new siam park which is a must for all, there is a free bus that takes you down to the beach but if you want to walk which we sometimes did it's about 20mins which we did really easy. We loved this place and it is not the first tme we have stayed in Tenerife but definatley the best. We would reccomend the Gran Oasis to any one and we will be returning with the family.

have just come back from gran oasis resort and must say the hotel is lovely we stayed there for one week all inclusive and the food was lovely plenty to chose from even for someone who is picky about food also the drink was good and you could upgrade to named spirits for 10 euros a day. the staff were always friendly and helpful and very good with kids. was an ideal place for children (ours is two) the kiddies pool was great for him to play in. the night time entertainment was exactly what you expect mini disco for kids, bingo then the usual tribute acts, parrot show etc. the rooms are lovely however there were a couple of downsides one being there is no air con (there is a fan in the bedroom but none in the living room) and the other being the bedroom is downstairs and the fold away bed for the child is upstairs meaning our little boy slept with us rather than being upstairs on his own however you could ask reception and they would bring the fold away bed downstairs. taxi rides into town cost about 5 euros however there is a free shuttle bus a few times a day. have had a lovely time would definately go back there.

Upon arrival my first impressions was this is not a 4 star hotel, a good 3 though. The rooms are very spacious, 2 floors bedrooms down stairs living room and a kitchen up stairs, 2 balaconies. If you have small children the stairs in the apartments are dangerous as they are marbel. This hotel is geared around children, from 10am the activities start and the aminiation team are around all day. My son cried when we had to leave he enjoyed it so much. Again evening entertainment is for the kids until 9ish, adult entertainment is a hit and miss but by this time the kids are shattered and need their bed. We were all inclusive but there are hidden costs and we spent £250.00 in this hotel for a week, not all drinks are on the all inclusive, only basic ice cream cups are free others you pay for, I was even shocked I had to pay for the TV. This hotel is remote so I would recommend All inclusive but a taxi into town is only 5 euros. Food in the resturant was ok, themed each night and always something for the kids, lunch was better than the evening but still good. The staff are really friendly and the kids are well catered for. If you are a couple this is not the hotel for you as its full of young children, doing what they do best running around, making lots of noise and soaking everyone around the pool, its a kids paradise. Overall we had a fantastic holiday, had a cheap deal so the extra cost whilst there was not an issue, would recommend to all families with children from 0 to 11.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a low number, this is a big resort with lots of steps

Stayed here for 10 days in a 2 bedroom apartment, the rooms are nice and modern, clean and some amazing views over the golf course and Las americas. The staff could not be nicer if they tried! Very friendly and polite even towards some rude guests. Food was very nice, and of good quality and the chef found out one of us was vegetarian and made some food to cater for him as soon as we walked in. It's a 25 min walk into the main town but we walked it every night and even walked back with no problems at all and we are not in shape at all so no problems of location.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are very helpful. Everywhere is very clean and the food was as expected for a European all inclusive. However, as a young couple the hotel was very geared towards children; with constant 'entertainment' which made lying by the pool less than relaxing. Further to this we stayed in late September expecting few families (as most schools are now back in term) however the majority of the hotel residents were families with rather rowdy children. The hotel is a distance from Las Americas however this is not much of an issue as taxi's are cheap (less than 5 euros), the walk is quiet and there is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel a few times a day. The hotel is on a slope however unless you are elderly or in a wheelchair this is not much of a problem.

All in all a lovely hotel but more directed for Families than couples.

We stayed at this resort for two weeks from the 9 Sept 2011 to 23 Sept inclusive. We were lead to believe it was four star acccording to Thomas Cook website the hotel displayed a rating of three keys .I would rate it as two star and that is being very generous. On arrival we were advised that our room was not ready this was at two forty albeit checkout time is eleven am not a good start advised to go for lunch as it stopped at three. Went to the room after lunch still not ready very very poor. The food was very very poor.Sometimes it was lukewarm whilst other times it was just cold.It was mildy amusing at first to be dive bombed at breakfast, lunch, and dinner by birds but this became extremely annoying as the days passed.Food being left unattended with insects, birds flying about not very hygienic feel that Health and Safety would not allow this to occur in this country. My wife was very ill the second week of the holiday with a very bad stomach upset not surprising bearing in mind my previous comments.

The daily routine of listenig to repetitive music, killer pool, darts, pool aerobics, and water polo became very very tiresome day afer day.We just wanted to relax by the pool but were not allowed that luxury.

Night entertainment was kids disco followed by bingo then some cabaret and again the first few nights were fine but got very tedious after a while.

I must mention the staff were very friendly and hard working but regret their efforts were in vein.

I could not reccomend Gran Oasis Resort to anyone because you don t get the holiday you are expecting

Room Tip: Rooms near the pool mean a lot less steps to negotiate.

Mostly great staff, very friendly. Went all inclusive and would def do this sort of holiday again. The restaurant food was nice and the staff all very friendly. Only downside was money was stolen from my room. It was in a purse hidden in a bag in the wardrobe so they must of had a good ol search for it. Staff were not very helpful when told them what happened. On 3 occassions we got back to our apartment to find our patio doors had been left open by the cleaners. Of course this was denied as the staff should not leave any doors open/unlocked. Perhaps it was a ghost then?? Who liked to spend money!! Or just staff not admitting to taking my money?? As the staff were busy looking for money in my room they didn't clean the room all that well. Shame as it was a lovely apartment.

Dear Guest,

As per our private conversations, we are investigating and creating new procedures to make sure that this type of problems never happen again. We always recommend clients to close all the doors and all our personnel is asked to leave all doors closed after finishing their service at the apartments.
