“Golf trip with group”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

There were 16 of us on a golf trip for the long weekend - Hotel suited us perfectly.
Close to the beach and Restraunts/Bars so could walk everywhere.
Pool area was a nice size.
Food was what you could expect for an all inclusive Hotel - all the basics you need.

Room Tip: Choose a Room that is not facing the strip

If your a boring couple who don't like late nights and loud music then I would suggest to pick a hotel closer to Costa Adeji. If your a family I would also suggest that there are far better alternatives than this hotel. Myself and my best friend stayed here for my 30th birthday and we were looking to party hard, roll in at 6 and the idea of banging music all night and sleepless nights didn't bother us as that was exactly what we wanted! Fantastic location right on the beach and the strip!! Perfect for lads holidays/girls holidays. Overall the pool was nice and the food was average. The breakfast and dinner was often louk warm or cold but luckily there was a microwave to re heat. The day time snacks were probaly the best, cheese burgers, chicken burgers, paninis and lots of little nibbles. No taking it outside though which seemed bizarre!! The all inclusive isn't the best for drinks! Only a selection of 2 cocktails and then cheap local rubbish. Only 2 drinks at a time, and also you have to sign a receipt with room number and name every time which was very odd!! The Iberostar Las Dallias we stayed at last time similarly priced, offered branded drinks for all inclusive guests which I think makes all the difference when paying the extra money. The staff were mostly really nice and happy which was nice. Watch out for bad mannered, in polite Russians! They are very arrogant and cant even be bothered to say thank you when you hold a door open for them etc! Their seemed to be quite a few of them and not as many English as we were hoping for. The rooms were basic but kept clean, one morning a receipt we had kept on our side table for free drinks was thrown away which was annoying but we got over that in the end. The air con in all rooms works in reverse, must be a trick of some sort! The thermostat on a dile started at 5 degrees and went up to 30 and most normal people would assume that 5 would be the coldest but not in this case with turning the dile to 30 meant that was the coldest setting which was explained after we called maintanance a few times. The showers were ok, good pressure for being high up and warm water if needed. Overall I would consider returning here as its good value for money and an amazing location but If I had a mrs, and was looking for peace and quiet or romance or I was a family I would never choose here! Choose the A block for best views Id suggest.

Room Tip: High floor, A block for sea and strip view.

Paid £50 per night with breakfast included. Had a nice view of the beach. Was extremely noisey at night as it is next to the night clubs. No air con working in room. Staff were rude and abrupt. Breakfast had heaps of choice - buffet but all quite bland. Would recommend to anyone on a tight budget as for what u pay it was reasonable but certainly not fantastic. If you pay a little more you will find a lot better.

First of all I want to say how friendly the staff were and that the breakfast selection was good and fresh. Rooms were cleaned and bed made every day. overall not a bad hotel , though the room décor could be fresher. The only two problems with the hotel are

1) cockroaches, Come in all various sizes and there are some big buggers and some in the room as well. Get the pest control in and get them sorted

2) Noise ( even in a quiet room ) . You really have to be deaf, drunk or dead to get a good night sleep. you have a pub called leanordos pumping out the music till 2am then the noise from the strip and the party crown going home after 5am then the street cleaners kick off at 6am

I did booked this holiday through Jet2 and shame on them. I had booked 1 extra room through the hotel direct. This was a good idea as three people in a double room ( three bed together and 3 cases, clothes ect ect would have been a joke ) JET 2 , DONT SELL A ROOM FIT FOR 3 AS ITS A JOKE

Would I go back to Tenerife. 100% yes. very clean, good selection of bars and restaurants in the area and siam water park is fantastic
Going back for Christmas but not to Sol Tenerife, even though I am a melia hotel member

We came here about 2 years ago and loved it. The weater was great, so was the food and all the facilities. The room was large with a TV, desk and phone. The only issue I really have is the noise created just a block away from the hotel - but after one night of it, you will get used to it. The side where this noise is most prominent is the south side. The location is fantastic - less that 5 metres to get to the beach. Great views of the town, sea and mountains from the rooms (we stayed on the 7th floor - the hotel being two towers of eleven floors each. Would love to go back to the hotel - definately reccomend it.

Room Tip: Rooms on the North tower are quiter, but rooms on the south tower are bigger

We have stayed here twice in the past few years, 1st as a couple and we enjoyed it so much we brought our families back. Great hotel in an ideal location, lovely food (no shortage off it) and very friendly staff! If u want a quiet room ask to stay in the tower further away from the strip, if your not happy with that go to lanzarote. Your supposed to be on holidays, people out enjoying themselves is all part off it.
P.s Don't miss the Mexican night in the restaurant!

Just got back from our week holiday with my friend.
We went for a girls holiday and aged 18 and 24 so we wanted to be by the bars and clubs. This is the BEST HOTEL IF YOU ARE A PARTY ALL NIGHT PERSON. its the closest to the strip you can get literally 5 steps away. If you want a quiet relaxed holiday then I wouldn't stay at this hotel as you can hear the music from your room till 6am if your facing towards the sea.
We included breakfast in our package but the first day we had it later on we where being sick it made us very ill. After speaking to rude staff that promised us it wasn't there food and swearing at us telling it was the alcohol but we hadn't been out. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast.
The TV in our room was old fashioned couldn't even see the picture was just dots and was all in Spanish. Bed was raw and hard. This hotel is definitely not 4 stars but only worth paying for if you want to be close to the strip that's the only possible good thing about this hotel.
