we stayed here a few years ago, and returned this year from 27/06/17 for 2 weeks and i must say we had a great holiday the food is excellent now the choice well there is something for every one and plenty of it , the gardens and location is excellent every were is very clean rooms are cleaned daily and cleaned well, nothing is to much trouble for the staff we were there when the world cup games were being played, and shown in the piano bar,the bar staff were flat out serving but always smiling making lovely cocktails ,and making time to have a laugh and joke , not to forget the rest of the staff who work very hard for the guests to have a good holiday the are a credit to the hotel,

the hotel is fantastic as is the food and the staff.
the entertainment is good, but just before or just after they have two guys playing organs and singing (not very well TBH) they are a bit depressing if they could update the band a bit that would make this hotel even better than it already is.

Room Tip: all rooms are exellent and if you have more than three in a room try asking for a bungalow on arrival.

We recently spent a week back here having stayed for two weeks last September. It is not often we return to the same hotel but having enjoyed the stay previously we had no reservations in relation to returning.

We were disappointed that for the first two nights the pool bar was not open in the evening as sitting outside watching the entertainment is far better than being indoors, this however was rectified on the third night and the bar reopened. There was some building work being carried out renovating one of the pools but it was not too disruptive and sun beds were still available around the main pool. Although it was said that sun beds would not be reserved, we did note several where people did not use until the afternoon having placed their towels in the morning.

Still charging a deposit for the remote for the TV but good to see that no charge is made for a fridge in the room now (was in September), safe also extra as are towels which still surprises me in an all inclusive.

The food was just as good as before, plenty of choice and heaps of it, we were all inclusive but did not utilise the restaurant at lunch times as we were still full from breakfast! The staff are all very hard working and friendly, keen to please and always seem to have a smile.

This hotel was occupied mainly with older people rather than the younger generation but there is something for everyone. The location is great and although some of the rooms are looking alittle tired, they are kept spotless.

Overall another enjoyable stay. It is worth paying for a sea view and requesting a higher floor as it can be a little noisy at the lower levels with the SAX bar across the road.

Room Tip: Sea view and higher floor preferable

Stayed here in June for 10 nights half board with my boyfriend and had a lovely time!

Location - couldn't be better for us, if you go out to the back of the hotel on to the beach, turn left to Los Cristanos and right to Costa Adeje way (the strip is also this way).

Food - The food was lovely, there was so much choice. We only ate in the evening once because we enjoy eating out, but we were able to swap our evening meal for lunch at the hotel which we had most days. We would have probably got a bit bored eating in for ten nights in row but can't fault the food at all it was really nice!

Room - Rooms are small, modern and clean. Beds were extremely comfy - definitely the comfiest bed I have ever slept in abroad!! We had a fab view overlooking the pool/sea on the fifth floor. At night you could hear the sea, which I found relaxing! Other than that no other noise once the evening entertainment had stopped.

Pool area - There are plenty of sunbeds... however on our first morning I looked down from the balcony and saw a que of people from all angles waiting for 8.15 with their towels!! Now, I'm all for not reserving a sunbed, however when so many people are doing it, the only way to get a decent one around the pool is to reserve them because of the amount of people reserving them - if you can't beat them join them! Think the hotel needs to be stricter on this, some people wouldn't come to their sun beds until almost midday. I even had a note on mine saying please don't reserve the sunbeds - when I had actually only popped inside to the loo...! This being said, you could find free sunbeds at anytime of day - they just won't be around the pool. Also, the smaller pool was shut for some of our stay, we had been warned about this. It was a nice surprise when it opened on our 4th day although we didn't mind using the deep one - just looked nicer without building work going on - you can definitely tell which pool had been redone!

One small complaint, a white bikini top did go missing from my room - I can only presume it got taken accidently with the towels - probably my fault for leaving it on the floor. I was told to email customer services which I did but I haven't had a reply and I'm not sure I will which I am a little disappointed about as I appreciate mistakes happen but It would be nice if they could check whether anything was found.

Hotel - There is wifi in reception area, it's not the best. There is always a security person in the reception to. At night when we came back late, we had to give our room number so they could check if we were actually staying there! Found most staff to be pleasant. The lifts can get busy and therefore slow. Lovely cocktails from the bar outside in the daytime.

Overall, this was a lovely holiday, I would return to this hotel, the location, pool area and the food were great. Rooms very comfy and the resort Las Americas as a whole couldn't have been better for us - lively, busy but not like a "party" resort.

Room Tip: Lovely views facing the pool/sea - had a great view from the fifth floor.
