I really didn't know what to think about this hotel after reading all the negative reviews on here but, It wasn't that bad!!

We arrived at the hotel & instantly rented a safe which was 35 euros but, on return of the key 15 euros is given back to you!!
When we got up to our room on the second floor it was ridiculously dark which was hard to find our room number not knowing where to look! When we got in the room it was well equipped with a kitchen unit area, table & chairs & 2 singles beds! When we booked I did book a double bed for myself & partner but after going through the corridor you could see that no rooms had a double beds but in that heat we really weren't bothered!!
You can hire a fan as there is no air con but we thought we would see what it was like on our first night with the balcony door kept open and found it fine for the whole holiday!

There were slamming doors & music being played early hours with a few loud talkers but it wasn't all night but did get annoying when we were up early for our flight and wanted some sleep before hand! I do think there was a decent mix of families, couples & groups at the start of the holiday but, seen as we went the last week of the school holidays a lot of groups came in around the last few days of the holiday and it did get very loud then & not family orientated! We did hear a family asking to go over to the sister hotel next door & I don't blame them with small children!!
If you like a trip to the pool , you've got to be prepared to be there for early!! Our balcony was over looking the pool & that's what woke us up at 9am every morning was people popping their towels down ready for the day!!
The all inclusive was ok!! All the food was different every day, with lots of options!!
Would I return to the hotel again? Yes, probably I would but on a groups holiday!
The area of las Americas is very loud with bars & clubs etc! If your looking for a quieter part there are lovely hotels in Los Christanos on the sea front & close to a lovely little beach!!

By the way- Siam Park is a must & literally a stone through away! Great day out with a free bus from up the road of the hotel!!

Ignore the reviews on here, this hotel was spot on for what we wanted. 2 lads wanting a break and some lively bars. The hotel was perfect walking distance from the strip. We had a room facing the third pool which no one knew about, thankfully it was quieter here but can imagine the rooms facing the main pool or the front can be quite warm.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which didn't really affect us but can be a problem for some people!

The food is ok. If you are happy eating bog standard food then it is fine. All inclusive drinks perfect, although it is very warm inside where the bar is at night so most people sit outside on the sun loungers.

Not really a program for kids though, but if your kids are easily entertained then this isn't a problem.

Yea there were some rowdy lads on stag doos, but generally you can stay away from them or even better, join them!

All in all a nice holiday and I would consider going back if I was to go to playa again.

We stayed at this hotel 15th aug - 29th aug we are a family of 5 kids ages 8,10,11, we stayed around rebecca pool which was the quieter pool and the kids enjoyed every minute of it, no complaints about the food every meal was spot on very clean restaurant all staff very friendly. We were in a two bedroom apartment we did not need air con even though it was 38 degrees every day rooms were very clean beds a bit uncomfy but ok. The only thing i would say is the Brits do not know where the bin is time and time again cups and bottles ice cream tubs left around pool area when there are plenty of bins around just lazy knowing that children are around. There was not alot of night time noise at all thought it was very quiet to say there was alot of people there yes there was not alot of things to do at night time but we where fine. The area around the hotel needs updating but i've seen worse areas.

Right for starters there is no need for all the negativity in these reviews it was our second year at las piramides so we new what to expect our room was spot on (1119) would recommend to anyone kitchen lounge bedroom and bathroom two balconies and pool view cleaned every day and fresh towels every few days more than you would do at home yes u have to pay for tv but why watch tv on hol always somethink to eat dont know wot some people expect for all inclusive restaurant clean and plenty of tables breakfast best meal of the day worth getting up for tables cleaned soon as u leave staff all work exceptionally hard and are friendly and there to help the pool area does get messy during the day with cups etc but if everyone put there own rubbish in the bin as we did there would be no need for others to complain but all this is cleaned up by 7pm and again before the pool opens at 9am in the morning there is a lack of entertainment in the evening and this could be the only negative I would have about the hotel but as a family staying here (me my wife and son 7 ) we had another great holiday here deffo not an 18-30 hotel if you go school hols its a family hotel with the odd group of lads or girls but you will get that anywhere and on behalf of me ste nicky and bailey we would like to thank... auntie helen, auntie Lynn, larry, craig, becky, ryan, sophie, shannon, amy, stu, mark, stephen, john, paul, lynn, tamzin, rob, callum, dave, thomas, chloe, michelle, sarah, tom, keeley and all the staff for another brill hol look forward to T15 on the reef at la piramides

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were quite friendly and the pools were good but I cant find words to describe the rest of the place. 3 stars it is not. We were all inclusive but had to go out every night because the lounge wasnt fit to sit in. There was no entertainment, no air con and it was dark and dingy. There was a small tv in the room which cost 1 euro per hour. We had to hire an air con unit for 80 euros. Someone described it as a concrete jungle and they were spot on. I could go on and on but wouldnt have enough space

Room Tip: Just dont go there

I read reviews with an open mind and make my own judgment, I certainly have never written one until now...I'm by no means posh or overly fussy I have just returned from this hotel and went for a fortnight with my wife and two kids (17 & 12).
This is a true reflection of what I found....
The so called evening and daytime entertainment didn't exist,
The Communual area was dark and dingy and was not air conditioned so was unbearable to sit in so guests would sit outside on sunbeds, background music was from a 1980's hi-fi and was often switched off.
After speaking to the entertainments girl who was very pleasant she told us that the hotel mamgement wanted her working behind the bar or in the kitchen.

The pool area was not cleaned until the end of the day and the build up of empty drinks cups on the few tables and around the pool floor area from that day was incredible,
We asked for a clean change of towels every day and in total we had 3 changes in two weeks and we had 2 sheet changes during our stay.
Be aware that wi-fi only applies to one device so two kids will cost 20 euros per week each.
No air conditioning in the rooms is sometimes unbearable and I considered sleeping on the balcony.

Room Tip: There are two main blocks and some rooms overlook other balconies
