The check-in at the hotel was very efficient. All our room-keys and A.I. bracelets where all in an envelope ready to go. Just sign the form and collect the page with the details of what was on offer with the A.I. programme. We had just missed dinner as the plane was late and I wished I had read the sheet I was given as it states that sandwiches are available after dinner has finished from the lobby bar. As it was we went out had a burger in “The George”.

The room was very nice and clean. We had a pool view and as we were on the top floor a good sea view as well. Bathrobes, slippers and pool towels were all placed on the bed, pool towels are a good size and can be changed as often as you like at the spa reception. Cost is €2.50 per towel per change. The rooms are well equipped with fridge, microwave, 2 ring cooker, toaster, kettle, and filter coffee maker. A plus for me as I tend to live out my suitcase was a full size steam iron and ironing board.

The beds were wonderfully soft with 2 fully pillows each. I had the best sleep in a hotel I can remember. Choose a pool view to make sure you get a quite room. The only down sides were there are no double beds, and as we were on the top floor we were woken at about 8 am either by guests or the hotel staff moving the sun beds about on the sun terrace above us.

All meals are buffet style for A.I. there is a menu for those on other meal plans. If you are A.I. you can choose something off the menu at a discount. We never had to bother as there was always something we liked.

We were a little concerned about the food as we had booked the hotel in November for our stay in June. All last year’s reviews were very good. But as soon as the hotel was reopened to Brits (from October to Easter the hotel is blocked booked by Thomas Cook Scandinavia ) the first months reviews said the food was not very good. However we did get a chance to speak to the hotel manager and he said that they had read the reviews and sorted things out. I have to agree with him, there was no problems with the food apart from the poor selection of sweets. Still there is always ice cream.

We love to sit outside to eat when we are on holiday and there was never a problem getting a table. Also the waiters bring your drinks to the table during lunch and dinner. The whole dining area was very clean with the waiters constantly clearing away the used plates and dishes.

The pool area was spotless with plenty of sun-beds. It was never a problem to get a bed around the pool. However there is only one corner by the bar that is in sunlight all day. Then the sun starts at bar end and works its way round. In June the whole pool was without shadow for only an hour. We got into the habit of going up on the roof terrace in the morning, there are showers up there to cool off. Then after lunch get a sun bed furthest from the bar that had only just come out of shadow. Then we could dip into the pool to cool off and be ok until it was time for a pre dinner stroll or drink or both!
There is very little entertainment or activities in the hotel. We knew this before we arrived and took plenty of books with us. There is the Spa and a gym, plus water aerobics in the pool 4 days a week. There is entertainment on 4 nights a week at least a singer of guitar player performing while you eat, plus flamenco dancers in the lobby bar once a week. We were there during the Euro 2012 football and they showed all the matches on the TV in the lobby bar. There is a nice seating area outside the front of the hotel where we would take a drink from the bar and sit and watch the world go by.

However the hotel is right in the middle of the action and it does not matter which way you go out of the hotel you will find entertainment within 5 mins walk.

Over all this is a very low key relaxing hotel everything is done with quite efficiency to the extent that you don’t realize until you queue once in a while at the bar that most of the time you don’t have to wait for anything. We are just sorting our dates out and hopefully we can rebook for September 2012 as we liked it so much.

Room Tip: Choose a pool view to ensure a quite room.

Myself and my boyfriend have been to this hotel twice now once in sept 11 for 2 weeks and the second time may 12 for one week. This hotel is in a excellent location, a mere couple of streets away from the main area, which gives the hotel a quiet location yet close to all the amenities. I would reccommend this hotel as BB only as the food we tried here we did not like and we though it was not hot enough but this would be down to personal opinion.

There is 2 great bars on this road the old george which is great for showing all the football matches and will try to accommodate a match of your personal choice on one of their many tv's. There is also a irish bar at the end of the street on the corner which does lovely food we mainly went here for breakfast which was fairly cheap.

The pool area is great apart from we felt the pool water was a bit on the cold side but once you got in the temperature was fine and a great way to cool as down both times we were at the hotel there was a heatwave. The rooftop terrace is a great concept and was great for peaceful chilling but it did get very hot up there and it was quite a way down the 6 floors in the lift to the bar and back up again.

The rooms were great and the beds are amazing always got a good nights sleep as they are very comfortable, The walk in shower is very powerful and spacious and the massive mirror is the bathroom is great for getting ready in front of. The balcony is a far side with a table and chairs and even with those on does not feel cramped. In one of the rooms we had there was also a sliding cover on the balcony which gave a bit more privacy as well although the view from that room was not as good as the first trip to this hotel.

It is great being adult only as no kids running around. The staff were also very friendly and pedro always had conversations with us. So the staff are always willing to help and make this hotel as great as it is. They are also major help in the booking process of excursions and we did Siam Park both times and once we went to Loro Parque. Both of the excursions we would fully reccommend as they are both great days out for couples or families as loads of things to do at both!

We look forward to coming back to the this hotel in the future, when we come back to Tenerife!

Room Tip: I would reccommend a room above reception otherwise you will be facing on to a block of apartments t...

The Hotel is very good rooms are fantastic air con very good nice touch supplying bath robes & slippers? pool/beach towels breakfast you could get a full english, well almost, lunch was very good but we had a problem with the evening dinner in our opinion not a great deal of choice.Maybe we have been spoiled by other hotels that was the only issue we had but but there was a serious noise problem with a gang of twenty odd girls on a hen party they where the most noisy and disgusting group of females i have ever come across banging doors shouting & screeming from around 1.30am untill 5.00am. bragging about what they had been up to. I won't go into detail.eventually after 2 nights the management got a grip of them & shut them up we were stuck in the middle of them and got moved to another room, the reception were very good when approached .maybe large groups of same sex like this should be dicouraged

This hotel is exactly how it looks in the pictures, very modern, clean and pleasant. I have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the Sunprime Coral hotel. The rooms are stylish and comfortable. Air con is fantastic along with a really nice bathroom and kitchen in the room. Beds are very comfy, only downfall is having two singles put together but that is standard when abroad.

Pool area well maintained, clean and nice sunbeds, when your lucky to get one by the pool, alternatively the sun terist is usually quiet and very relaxing. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away, close to las Americas strip if you fancy a heavier night or going right out of the hotel leads you more to cristinaos which is a very nice locations, spent most nights here as the resturants were lovely.

We did bed and breakfast which we couldnt fault as there was plenty of choice everyday. Beach towel provided in the rooms along with normal bathing towels. Rooms were cleaned everyday and towels were changed.
Local supermarkets are on the street with a free bus at the end of the road for Siam Water Park which is a must.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend or even consider returning to this hotel in the future.

We stayed at the coral suites and spa for 2 weeks from the 14th june 2012. Having stayed at this hotel 4 years previously, we were suprised at the high standard of the refurbishments that had been carried out.Ikea styled designed suites include; dressing gown and slippers, beach towels which u can change for a fee of 2.5 euros, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, kettle toaster, micro, all mod cons that make your holiday complete.

FOOD; very good choice from full english breakfast, cereal, fruit, yougart, breads, meats and cheeses even vedgetables couldnt understand this as not many vedges at evening meal only at breakfast time!
Evening meals had a good choice on different theamed nights, italian, maxican, although lacking your greens was plentyfull, soup not much to brag about was always cooking in a big pan in a morning n looked like the previous nights left overs. Lots of desserts and ice cream. If your half board you pay for your drinks in the evening.

The hotel is very well run in general, very clean, staff very freindly. The only fault i could give the place is that it is very very noisey! Having e.mailed before we arrived to ask for a quiet room with a nice view, we got room 306 which overlooked hotel Bitacora"s delivery entrance so earley in a morning all you could hear was lorries ratterling bottles delivering there loads, as well as the dustbins from coral been emptied at some unearthly hour, not to mention the green glass recycle bin getting emptied once a week noisey, noisey, noisey.
If that wasnt enough people do just not no how to close doors slam slam slam, all day all night. The hotel could rectifiy this easily enough by putting draugth excluder felts around the door frames and by installing signs to respect other peoples peace and quiet.

We needed a late check out as my husband suffers from a bad back and needs rest before the flight home, after asking numerous times we were told to ask on the day of check out at 10am far to late in my opinion you should be able to book this at least a couple of days before. To our utter dismay we were charged 57 euros for 6 hours, ill say no more.

The pool is very nice pool although the sun doesnt come over until mid morning as the buildings surround it. There is a nice and peacefull roof terrece with plenty of sunbeds top up your tan up there!

Stayed here for 10days and the location is amazing, with an Irish bar a minute from the front door, live music bars just down the road and a 10 minute walk to Veronica's and the beaches, if you want to go to Los Cristianos you're best off walking as its not as far as you think. Back to the hotel, before going I had read the reviews as you do and expected the worse when it came to the food and drink, we had opted for all inclusive so not to worry about going over budget.
We arrived 7 hours late due to flight issues and went straight to bed, the rooms were fantastic spacious and homey.
The next morning two of us got to breakfast early and found a wide array of breakfast food from the typical English fry up to the leaner continental meats and cheeses, there was also a large variety of fruits and morning drinks, it was then we concluded the reviews about the food must have been mistaken, however the next day we arrived at breakfast later to discover the food was cooling on the hot plates and of course the wide selection had mainly been eaten by other guests. Tip 1 if you want the wide selection and hot food get to the meals early.
This tip goes for dinner and tea as well and we quickly got into a routine of if we went for the meal we went early.
As for the lager on tap it is refreshing and fairly light great to sip through the long hot sunny days and after lunch there is a wide range of local spirits and mixers to fuel the nights escapades. They do offer a few premium cocktails Mojito and Caipirinha not on the all inclusive but at reasonable prices which are delicious.
The staff are great and really friendly even Jesper after England beat Sweden was still glad to see us at breakfast the next day, I have to say Angie makes the best Mojitos sorry guys but its true. All in all this was a brilliant accommodation and I will be going back at least for a week next year. B
