“Beautiful hotel”
Reviewed 26 February 2014

This must be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at.
The service was impeccable and the hotel spotless.
It was just a really peaceful hotel.
The golf was very convenient. The hotel sits on the 4th hole and if you are playing you have access to a buggy and you just set of from the garage of to the first tee!
We ate once in the hotel and I didn't find the prices too high.
The only disadvantage is that the hotel is not right in the town. It is of course possible to walk and it is only 10 minutes but I didn't find it a very scenic walk. To counteract this, you can take a taxi and they are available all the time outside the hotel and are about 6 euros one way. I guess if it was in the town, it wouldn't be so peaceful.
I would certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: I got the impression all rooms at a nice view.

Just arrived home from a ten day stay at this beautiful hotel. This is the second time we have stayed there, and it won't be our last. Echoing other reviewers, there is little one could criticize here. The staff are just superb - reception, bar, restaurant... down to the lovely gardeners who keep the grounds immaculate. Everyone is polite and has a smile - and it seems real, not something they have been told to do. A couple of the staff said they really enjoyed working there, it was like 'family'. And this attitude permeated throughout the hotel. Well done to Mr Wolfgang.

The food was excellent. Yes, a little pricey, but this is a 5* hotel, so what would you expect?

We had a junior suite, which opened onto the pool area. (No.28) With hindsight, I would have preferred a room on a higher floor, as we lost some privacy with being on the ground floor. But who can be bothered re-packing, when you are in a truly lovely suite? Perhaps the only thing we could comment on, is that the shower floor becomes very slippery when wet. But if that is the only criticism...

The golf course was super. About as challenging as you would want for a holiday, and we were lucky to be paired up with some lovely people. The marshalls, caddymaster and green staff are as charming as those in the hotel.

Food in the clubhouse is excellent, staff not quite as happy as those elsewhere, but they are away from the tranquility of the hotel, so that could be why. Only lady had a hole in one while we were there, and the clubhouse staff organised a bottle of Lanson (no charge) and a certificate. Lovely touch!

All in all, this is just the most perfect hotel. Some might find it too quiet, and dress code for dinner might be too formal for some (most gentlemen wore jackets), but if you are looking for perfection, beauty and service second to none, then this is the place for you.

Room Tip: No tips - they are all lovely.

If you want a relatively quiet and luxurious vacation in Tenerife, a 6 euro ride from the shopping hell of Playa Las Americas, this is for you.A well managed boutique hotel with golf course attached and lovely rooms and public areas. Staff are helpful and well trained and the pool areas are sublime. Dinner menu is repetitive but then one can excursion into the town centre and enjoy the tattoos and body piercings of the shoppers. Restaurants and food courts abound and it makes a change from the serenity and civilised atmosphere of the Las Madrigueras Hotel. The breakfasts are slightlky disappointing ( the addition of an omelette station and better pastries would help) but otherwise a very, very good hotel

Room Tip: We chose a duplex suite and I recommend these rooms. Play golf EARLY, rounds are slow and too many p...

Hi stayed here for 4 nights and to be honest we were very pleasantly surprised that such a beautiful hotel existed on Tenerife. We wrongly thought that the hotels in Tenerife would all be centred around mass holiday makers. How wrong we were. This hotel is fantastic for golfers and non golfers alike it does back onto the 4th fairway, if you play golf there is direct access on to the course and the hotel have their own buggies. Excellent rates for the golf. It is a quite a small hotel I'd say around fifty rooms spaced over two floors and is about a 15 minute walk into Los Cristianos. The outside hides the glorious inside very well. It is almost a U shape, so the rooms all seem to face the pool area and the golf course. Beautiful decoration and exceptionally large rooms in a colonial style. We were on bed and breakfast which with an extensive array of cold food with a choice of hot breakfast as well. Tea and coffee in the rooms we would have expected and would have made sitting on the balcony complete. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and smiley from concierge through to pool staff. Compliments to hotel manager and your staff thanks a great stay.

In september we went for one week to Las Madrigueras which was tooo short ;-). It was just so perfect over there... The rooms are very spacious and very beautiful. the balconies are very nice and have very comfy chairs with nice views on the amazing golf las americas and the sea. It's very quiet in the hotel, which is very nice.... Even at the swimming pool, there was often only 6 people because many guests played golf. It's a real treasure in Tenerife, I think it's hard to find such a amazing hotel like this.... The staff are all so friendly! Atteh reception, the housekeeping, ... especiallly in the restaurant. special thank you to Carmelo, Paola, Sabine, Valentina ... Always smiling and always so kind for us....The Director mr. Wolfgang is also very friendly and always around. He 's always there to look if there are some special needs of the guests, the personal service is one of his priorities! The swimming pool is very nice, the surrounding was so beautiful. The plants, flowers, palm trees very nice setting! The breakfast is very good, you have a buffet and you can order some a la carte dishes eggs, pancakes, ... Cava, salmon, meat, cheese everything is there and very fresh. The diner was very good! fabulous food, our compliments to the chef! You can sit outside on the terrace which is great! We just had an amazing holiday here! If you like a quiet, relaxing, luxurious holiday with personal service and great food.... This is THE place to be.... We certainly go back!

Room Tip: All the rooms re great....

This hotel is perfect, no expense spared on fixtures and fittings. The service from staff is outstanding, complementing the amazing food at The Restaurant Bogey - the chateaubriand being the best I've ever had! Peaceful and quiet poolside with excellent waiter service, refreshing drinks and tasty food. Superbly located alongside the golf course, you get your own keys to your private golf buggy and locker for clubs for the duration of your stay, allowing you to drive out of the hotel directly onto the golf course and club... Perfect for a bit of practice on the range or putting green through to a full 18 holes! Staff couldn't have done more for me and my family to make our stay perfect! Stay here for the best hotel in Tenerife... The perfect getaway!
