We were at Marola in June and everything was perfect. It is best to start with stuff that is excellent: smiling all the time, polite, always at your service, make you feel like you have been there hundreds of times. Special thanks go to Mr. Gerard Moreno, receptionist, who will give you all information regarding not only Playa, but whole Tenerife and all its hotspots. It is our recommendation to come to him before you start exploring the island and he will give you a map and recommend places that you must see and some that you might and might not. Also, he will tell you which roads to use so you have best trips. Thanks to Mr. Moreno we knew where in Loro Park we should sit so our kid would get the chance to touch the see lions. 

Hotel is very well kept, very clean; maid is cleaning rooms and changing towels six days per week. Rooms are comfortable and fully equipped (TV, DVD player, kitchen equipment and very big safe box which is extra charged 2,2€ per day), but without air-condition that can be rented at the reception. We absolutely did not need it, though. Our room had pool view which is better because of noise that could come from the street, but we got impression that even street view would be quiet enough. If you like to have dark while sleeping, there are thick curtains so you can get enough dark all day. Internet is available only in ground floor, but it is free and speed enough.

Location of hotel is very good, not even 5 minutes walk from the best beach and very long promenade. Mercadona, big supermarket with very good prices is less than 500m away. Also, on the way to the beach you’ll find several shops and very nice restaurants with reasonable prices, but we would especially recommend Pizzeria Da Gregorio where pizza is made in wood stove, and stuff is very friendly. Playa's beach is spacious, with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and during our stay it was never crowded. Promenade that connects Playa and Los Christianos is very long and at some parts of it we felt fresh scent of the see like never before.

General impression is: when we come back to Tenerife, we will stay in Marola again!

Just got back from these apartments and could not be any sadder at having to leave. The staff are fantastic, the pool area is superb and everything is lovely and clean! I booked a superior apartment and it was perfect. So much space and a huge balcony which got the sun all day long. The door security at night time is excellent and they ensure that noise is kept to a minimum.

The apartments are far enough away from the clubs and bars that you are not kept awake but close enough to walk or only 5€ in a taxi. There is a beautiful street of restaurants and bars very close to the apartments that we walked to most nights and had some delicious meals at great prices! There is a big supermarket a few minutes round the corner where u can pick up things for breakfast and lunch (we even ate dinner in one night as there was so much choice and great cooking facilities.)

The reception and cleaning staff are so friendly and fun! Our apartment was cleaned each day and fresh towels given for both the shower and sun loungers.

I should stop now but basically it's amazing! GO!!

Also go to Siam Park if you love water parks.

Room Tip: Book a superior apartment.

Just back from one week in Mar Ola Park
Perfect sums this apartment block up for us
Apartment itself was ver large we were upgraded to a suite which was excellent ,
Apartment cleaned everday , clean towels and Beach Towels Everyday , Location is excellent just a 5 min stroll and you are in the best part of Playa de las Americas , where all the best restaurants and hotels are , It was my birthday while we were there and on the day they left champagne and present for me not sure how they knew maybe the birthday card that my husband left in the apartment ,? , Pool area really nice and padded sun loungers you could lie there all day not busy when we were there so no rush for a lounger ever always plenty , apartment is about 20 mins walk to Veronicas if that is your thing but to be honest this area is not nice and dirty , would not recomend that area unless you are 18 - 21ish ???..... we are in our 30´s so this was the perfect spot for us

Having read a couple of bad reviews of Mar Ola Park we went there with an open mind. We booked to have half board the breakfasts were great and the evening meals ok but it would have been nice to have a veggie choice. The whole place was very clean and the staff were second to none, always willing to help should you need it. If you are a light sleeper you might want to book a room overlooking the pool area as it is situated on a main road. I took ear plugs so was unaware of any noise. I am disabled and had no problems staying here and was able to rent a mobility scooter from bluebadge rentals who delivered to the complex. You may want to try a fish spa and treat your feet, very relaxing , there are 3 in the area. We arrived back home feeling rested having enjoyed 10 great days there.

Room Tip: you can rent a hairdryer from reception
