just arrived back - rooms very spacious and very clean. staff work tirelessly continually cleaning - of course usual ignorant minority who have no qualms about leaving pile of food and other debris around their area when they leave for the day - can only assumed they must have staff at home as well then ! had no issues with food - always something to eat although maybe more dessert choices would be appreciated. yes slippy hot poolside tiles and there did seem to be a fly invasion the last few days we were there, but didnt ruin our holiday and wouldnt hesitate to return. It is 3 star - it fits our budget and we were more than happy there. Had no complaints at all. well done compostela golf

My husband myself and our 2 daughters 14 and 10 returned this week from a super holiday we stayed 7 nights appt huge much bigger than expected nice quiet apartment overlooking a well kept court yard and golf course to the side lovely view of mountains we found it clean did not see any cockroaches and I did look as hate them .. we loved the pool as it was a good depth for the younger ones we were nervous about going during the school hols as have not done so before but all of the kids mainly dutch and brits very polite and always looked out for smaller ones my girls were quite happy to just swim play ball and chill as were we. we found the food good a different choice for lunch and dinner plus loads of salads fish was very good Liane the entertainer worked hard with the kids and they really liked her.. bar and restaraunt staff on the whole very polite and friendly plates cleared a bit quick at times however we never struggled to find a table ready for a meal we liked the location as don't like to be awake all night in a busy town centre 10-15 walk to the beach 10 mins to a good inexpensive supermarket small shop on site We visited the small but fun monkey park 7 euros away way taxi girls loved it We had a great time only down side was the lack of air conditioning and the beds wern't the most comfortable however do remember this a 3 * not the ritz you get what you pay for we had a week with flights 3 adults 1 child peak season for just over £1,500 a comparable 4 * would have cost us more than double I would definately recommend this as an inexpensive family break we would all happily return thankyou .. couple of tips they do not have a towel hire service so do pack them hire a fan as evening are hot pack a small first aid kit with paracetemol plasters etc as these are only available at pharmacies and are very expensive compred to our supermarket prices and most importantly enjoy :o)

My wife and me and a bunch of fun in this resort.
It is nothing special, quite average but it was clean, had a proper service and staff was very helpful.
Sometimes the kids in the afternoon were yelling a bit in the pool, but it was OK.
In order to get to the beach you have to take a cab or to walk 10-15 minutes.

HINT: Hire a car to explore the island, it is really worth!

Booked this accommodation and did not live up to expectation for two weeks couldn't wait to get home!! Accommodation very poor Food not good very repetitive as was the entertainment!! No option for anything to cook to order which is very unusual, small eating area meals felt very rushed ( production line). No nice areas to relax! Pool area dirty from morning till night, actual pool could have been cleaner! Only one pool which was always taken over by ball games!! Oh yes and cockroaches in the apartment! Be sure to bring plenty of money as I always thought all inclusive saved the holiday maker money not true if you stay at this hotel we went out a lot! No aircon but they would rent you fans for a price! Towels bring them with you as we only got 3 large towels for 3 people for 24hrs! Staff stressed out as there was never enough of them to cater for all the guests house keeping not great but tried their best! Would never go back! Wish I would have acted on the bad reviews which by the way I always give the benefit of the doubt! I never write reviews about hotels but I felt so disappointed I wanted to share this experience so please take note! Oh one last think alcohol not of great quality!!

We were a large group spread over 7 apartments. It's pot luck whether your room overlooks pool or road. Be careful to hire a safe 1 of our group was burgled. Our bedding only changed once in 10 days towel change also not daily and cleaning erratic. Fan hire extra pot luck if fan in bedroom.we had a good time overall but sunbed wars spoilt pool really: not enough beds. We would have liked shade on balcony too. Be aware Siam park v busy and drinks expensive there.

Dear Sammy, Thank your for your review. As we have appreciated from it we understand that your stay has not been up to your entire satisfaction. We regret this very much. Just allow us to point out that the Compostela Beach is not a property where usually burglaries happen. As for the cleaning and change of bedlinen, we would like to clarify that the cleaning service is given 5 times per week and bedlinen are changed twice per week and towels 3 times per week. All our apartments have ceiling fan and additional fans can be rented at reception at 6 Euros per week plus the usual deposit, which is returned upon departure. There are really a large amount of sunbeds available and our lifeguard always has an eye on them in order to avoid that they are reserved by guests in advance. Sunbeds never are available before 9 am. Once again we are sorry that you have not enjoyed your stay with us.

Second time I have stayed here and have really enjoyed myself. The rooms were clean, the food was great; a good variation of fresh salads, soup and various main courses to chose from, but most of all, the staff were very friendly. This is what makes a holiday for me personally. The walk to the beach was ok (except in the midday sun!!) and the weather in Tenerife is unbeatable.
You could pay more to get a more luxury hotel, but for me personally it wouldn't be worth it. I got exactly what I wanted here.
