We were looking forward to this trip to spot whales and dolphins and were left a little disappointed.

On arrival on board greeted with drinks, soft drinks also available for children also available throught trip.

Left harbour on search of whales/dolphins and after a little while came across a few pilot whales which did come very close to the boat after a little while crew informed us food would be served whilst on the way to a bay for anyone who wanted to swim.

Food was ok but could have had a little more choice, meat cheese, quiche sausage rolls and 2 choices of salad and a barm on offer.

On arrival at bay told we would be there for 30 mins ended up being there for over an hour though this extra time could have been spent looking for more whales/ dolphins.

Although we understand that it is not always possible to see the whales and dolphins when the boats go out.

Staff were very helpful and attentive with people who were unwell.

Freebird crew team were amazing from the very first moment we boarded the boat.
The team was well organised to make you feel very comfortable. This was my wife's first time experience on the board of this kind of boat. I was sailing professionally for over 20 years, so I knew what to expect. I was hoping the team will also use the sails, considering there was enough wind.
We decided to go with the 4+ hours tour, inclusive of unlimited drinks and food with swimming stop & go experience in Los Gigantes bay, as well as meeting whales and dolphins on the way back to the starting point.
The crew staff couldn't be more fun and welcoming every moment of the trip.

Booked the Freebird Gold trip with reserved sun beds and it was excellent! Lots of drinks and food included in price and a really spacious catamaran to enjoy. Seeing the school of pilot whales so close up ( sprayed us from their blowholes as they swan under the catamaran nets) was the highlight of my holiday. An experience I will never forget. Can highly recommend this trip.
