“Good History of WW2 but Disappointing Collection of Aircraft ”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

I am a life long aviation fan and Aeronautical Engineer. Visiting this collection had been an ambition for some time and,to be honest, I was very disappointed. The Duxford collection in the UK is 10 times better. Perhaps the most unusual exhibit and best part was the nose art.

Want to see some of the real aircraft that won WWII for us as well as German and Japanese aircraft? The American Airpower Heritage Museum or Commemorative Air Force Museum and Aircraft Display is the place. Suitable for children, teens and yes, adults.

“Historic!”

If you appreciate WWII or military aircraft restoration this is a must see. They have varied aircraft that have had excellent restorations. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Museum.

“It was good.”
Reviewed 19 September 2013 via mobile

Lots of good displays. Not that many static displays. Could use more planes to see. Displays on WWII were good and informative. Best displays were at the SAC museum at Omaha.

“Wonderful presentation of history”
Reviewed 7 September 2013

I've been to the musuem many times. While some of the displays remain the same, they are very good at adding new displays to the mix. The panes you see vary each time as they rotate in and out to their "home bases". The actual nose art from WWII planes is great. The staff is very firendly and helpful. Their annual air show is amazing.
