This hotel is happy to accomodate the CAP personnel when they come to Nacogdoches for the Wing's headquarters activities. The staff are always helping us out in whatever way they can. It is a pleasure to do business with them.

Spent my son's graduation weekend at this establishment. IT WAS WONDERFUL!! The staff was OVER accomodating and the facilities were awesome. We loved the fact that we could use their covered outdoor pavillion for our family and friends to come over after graduation and celebrate all night long. This is the ONLY place I will stay when I go visit my college students for the next 2 years.

Clean room, friendly staff. Some smoking rooms are really smoky- my mom had to stay in one because there were no more non-smoking rooms available. Front desk staff brought up a little machine, but it didn't help much. My sister's room (which also was smoking for the same reason) did not smell bad at all.

I have stayed at this hotel since it was built in the mid 90's. The rooms always have been updated and clean. This trip I stayed in a upstairs jacuzzi room for 30 dollars more than a regular room and it was NOT worth the extra money, so next time it will be a regular upstairs room. Next was the breakfast... I was there 3 nights but ate breakfast just ONE time because all it is is cereal, waffle or boiled eggs. I miss the real hot breakfast Most other Best Western's have. If I had only paid 65 bucks this all would be ok but the bigger room for 95.00 made it not worth the money

Very clean, bright, cheerful property with an outstanding staff. I definitely will stay here on future visits. The property appears to have been continually updated. The property does not have an elevator.

We booked a double queen, non-smoking room for 2 nights, and with our Costco discount, it was just $58.50 a night (+ $7ish each night in taxes). No, it's not luxurious and it doesn't have trendy decor, but the room was clean, comfortable, and attractive. Both nights the parking lot was packed, but it was quiet. The beds are comfortable; I napped both afternoons as I was nursing a cold, and my middle-aged body wasn't sore like some hotel beds can leave it after less rack time. The breakfast is adequate: make-your-own waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits , gravy, cereal, oatmeal packets, Danishes and muffin (a bit stale) yogurt, bananas, apples, hot fresh coffee (good), tea bags, milk, but no juice, just Sunny D. The desk clerk was pleasant and helpful.

At this price, we weren't looking for luxury, just a clean, comfortable, quiet place to crash when we weren't hanging with our daughter, who attends college in Nac. This Best Western was exactly what we'd hoped for. We'll return.

Check in was pleasant and I found all employees to be very friendly and hospitable. This is an older facility with stairs to the upper level and drive to door for the lower level. The room was very large and would be called a suite at any other hotel. A pony wall separated a “sitting are” from the bedroom. I really enjoyed all the space. The sitting area included a small loveseat - old but in good shape and a coffee and end table with a pole lamp. There was also a large desk area. All seemed clean (including the bathroom) - they seem to really care about keeping the place neat and tidy. There was a slight bit of a musty smell upon entering the room but it aired out quickly. Actually the Visitor Center in Nacogdoches smelled musty too. There was a beveled frame around the bathroom mirror which was a nice touch. The water was nice and hot and heated up quickly. I wish the bath counter was higher as it didn't come up to the top of my hips (and I am short). There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room and a decent sized flat screen TV. The pillows and bed were very comfy. I stay at lots of BWs and these pillows were definitely above par. I always bring my own but didn’t need to use it this time. The internet was decent and no access code was needed.
They had a large, roomy breakfast room. Breakfast was continental but they did have hard boiled eggs and microwave sausage biscuits. The milk served was warm and could have benefited from being colder. The make your own waffles were better than most and nice and fluffy. They also had our favorite yogurt - Activia. There is an Arby’s directly next door and a Dickey’s BBQ across the street (although the road is dangerous to walk across). All in all a very good stay. The price was nice too.

Room Tip: They assign people to rooms away from the hi way for as long as possible. Hopefully they aren't...
