My boys and our family had a great time staying at the WorldMark Resort in New Braunfels. The houses are very spacious with lots of light. We had 4 adults and 3 children in our party. We spent practically every afternoon in the pool. It is very close to Gruene, the river and New Braunfels itself. We had a 3 bedroom two bath condo. It became known as the wood house; décor is texas theme with a log cabin feel on the inside. The grounds are kept very nice and there is a lot of grassy hills for the kids to play on. The housekeeping was very attentive to our needs as well as the front desk. The staff always made themselves available and were very knowledgeable about things to do . We had a great time staying at the WorldMark.

WorldMark New Braunfels is by far the best WorldMark property I've ever stayed at. Staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our accommodation, the two bedroom unit with spacious rooms and tons of light, was clean and decorated true to central Texas. This location provided easy access to Gruene (down the street) and I-35 (few miles off). We spent most of our time in Austin (45 minutes) while also mixing up some sight seeing in San Antonio (25 minutes) so this location was perfect. Only gripe is pool is pretty small and often crowded. Fitness room (18+ only) is a bonus though as well as clubhouse with pool table.

Room Tip: Ask for a units furthest from the clubhouse / pool area (much quieter).

We were in a two-bedroom condo. It was more than spacious and had every possible amenity. The downside was the check-in process, which was painful. We arrived early and were given a unit but the air conditioner was not working so we went back to the check-in office to wait for the next available unit. The check in time was supposed to be 4:00 p.m., which came and went and we continued to sit there for too long a time. There was another family which also waited an exceedingly long time. They definitely need more staff to clean the units for busy check-in days like the weekend. After we finally got into our unit, the stay could not have been more pleasant. It's a beautiful property and we hope to go back next year. The best part of the whole stay was the close proximity to the little town of Gruene. While the stay started on a sour note, it does not deter us from wanting to go back or from highly recommending it to friends.

We had a three-bedroom condo that we shared with another couple. The place was huge!! We could have held a dance in the walk-in closet in the master bedroom. The staff was so very helpful and friendly. They were anxious to provide anything we needed, additional laundry soad, exchange of towels, photocopies, etc.
Interestingly we spent the next week in a condo in Branson (The French Quarter). That resort had NO internet available in the rooms (only by the pool??), charged for towel exchange, only provided one of each dishwasher soap, laundry soap, etc. for a week stay), and a tiny bedroom with a nightstand and lamp on only one side of the bed.
I would recommend this WorldMark as the location is great, the units are very family friendly, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and the staff is great!! Next time in Branson we will look for a WorldMark there!!

We stayed in a two-bedroomed duplex and as there were only two of us, we spent our entire week on the ground floor. The accommodation is spacious and the units well equipped. The major plus point of the location is its proximity to the delightful historic town of Gruene. Other nearby places of interest are New Braunfels with its excellent Sophiesberg museum and the spectacular Canyon Lake. In Gruene and New Braunfels (and slightly further away Boerne) it is possible to imagine the life of the early German settlers over 150 years ago and indeed to view the buildings of 100 years ago, still standing and in current use. The railway is not close but close enough to hear day and night. The Wyndham owner update was truly an update and not a selling exercise.
