“Interesting and quiet....”
Reviewed 16 September 2013 via mobile

A nice walk across and below the bridge. We enjoyed watching people fish and swim. We enjoyed taking pictures. There is a walkway to get closer to the falls.

“A peek back”
Reviewed 15 March 2013

We took a few minutes to reflect on a time from the past. This was a nice pause in a busy day. There is nothing to do, other than spend a few tranquil minutes. We were treated to the treat of a train passing on the adjacent railroad bridge, that made for a nice photo-op. the people swimming below, can also provide some mild entertainment. Worth taking a few minutes to pause and refresh.

“Not Many Of These Old Bridges Around”
Reviewed 18 February 2013

There are not that many of these old bridges around and if you have not taken the kids (young and old) to walk across the bridge this would be an excellent location if you are close to New Braunfels. And it will not cost you a penny and the kids will have a great time looking down at the river and crossing an old iron bridge. That is a story for "show and tell" next week at grade school. Take some pictures so the kids can show their classmates and tell than about the "old rusted, almost falling down" bridge. Yes--that should be the story and the other kids will be amazed.
