We spent the day at the lake. Walked the dam, and the shores! It is a beautiful blue lake, and not overly crowded on the lake.

This is a beautiful, deep, clear water lake in the Texas Hill Country. Great for boating. There are two marinas that rent boats.

We spent the day at Comal Park on a Sunday. They area has many shade trees. There are also a lot of picnic tables, some even covered. There is a roped swim are. The area in general does not have extreme dropoffs. The water is fresh with constant movement. Great for a getaway day, family event or just enjoying nature. Will definitely go back! There is a daily usage fee of $5.

After a very hot afternoon, we decided to spend the evening driving to Canyon Lake.
The expedition was memorable. The sunset was serene; beautiful and cool for relaxation. Nice place for family hang out. I surely will come back for a long weekend escape.
