Great burgers and jalapeño buns are the best!

The atmosphere is the only drawback. Very small and very rustic.

Have been eating here for years. Always a great place and home cooking type of food. Really love the Cajun Baby potato or Cajun Baby grilled catfish. Peggy's boiled shrimp--WOW, and ask for Peggy sauce to go with it. The burgers are great and you have a choice of buns-plain or jalapeno. Many people drive up on their boats or jet skis to enjoy a great meal. If you have a large group you need to call ahead so they can reserve tables for you. There are a few tables on the porch that over look the bayou. Please note that Peggy's is like a fish camp, so it is a very casual place, but a place that will treat you like family.

Not a fancy place just down home comfort with a friendly staff. Food is very fresh and delicious. They usually have great specials. Family member told me the burgers are excellent as well. Gonna have to drop in and try those the next time.

Had supper there with friends. The salad was nothing but iceberg lettuce, the fried shrimp were over cooked and too much batter, the baked potato appeared to have been heated more than once, and was dried out, service was not good. Overall bad experience. Will not go back .

Peggy's now has two locations in Orange and we have eaten at both. I prefer the one on Hwy 62 because of the room inside. But both offer the same menu and quality of food. I've eaten the shrimp taco, gumbo, platters and pistolettes and they were all good. The service is kind of hot and cold. I've eaten there in groups and with my husband. Kids love the 'crabby patties'.
