The city had a bulldozer cleaning the beach of sea weed, not good! The idea was good but he spun his wheels and left deep muddy mosquito infested water traps. In the places that he dropped his bucket and smooth it was great. The muddy holes were death traps and full of stinking rotting fish.

Fun town to visit for fishing and a quick weekend getaway by the sea. Excellent kiteboarding if the wind cooperate.

This is one the best beaches ...clean..huge...really nice..it's a great beach to take kids of all ages...great for family fun...there are places to shower when you get done...you can drive right up to the water...I noticed many people fishing on the beach also...Love this beach...we have been here many times...we will return again and again..

Beach is becoming more and more crowded. They scoop up the seaweed along the water and dump it on the dunes so the "street" is getting smaller and smaller. They have cordoned off more area where you cannot park, leaving less parking and only a small area near the jetty where you can park and fish! And more & more of us go all at the same time!

It was very hard to find a spot to park and the parking permit is $12. We found a spot near the Jetties. Lots of seaweed when we went even though there was equipment working to clean the beaches.
