“Best food on the island”
Reviewed 2 September 2013

Yes, it's expensive for Port A, but if you want something a little different and really special, this is the place. More than worth the short drive. Reservations a must on weekend nights. We prefer to sit outside, and there aren't many outdoor tables, so you must ask when you make your reservations. The service is slow, but you're on the island - what's your hurry? The live music is an added bonus. We will definitely be back

“Lisa Bella's on Port "A"”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Went to dinner about 6:30 PM with a group of 8; (family members and a dear friend) with advance reservations, and everyone in our group had a wonderful meal and good service. We were seated immediately and had our drinks shortly thereafter. The soup and salads came timely and the Mermaid Soup was to die for I was told by the several who had it. Their secret recipe works.

The Grouper was delicious as was the Red Snapper I was told, several had Crab and another had their Chicken, and one had the pasta which was even great!. Every single entre was delicious they said and no one went home hungry.

So I would have to say that I am sorry for those who wrote a bad review, this place was simply awesome and a very fine dining establishment. Yes it is on the expensive side of restaurants, but the food is worth it. Ignore the bad stuff some have written, make reservations and you will be glad you did.

“Good food. Terrible hostess”
Reviewed 17 August 2013

Front of the house problems. After three separate issues with the hostess - lost reservations, hour wait with a reservation and general unfriendliness- we won't be coming back.

“Good food but atmosphere is not as nice as their original location.”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

We had reservations for 9:00 on a Saturday. When we arrived it was full and the hostess proceeded to seat us at a table near the very crowded bar. It was very loud in that area so we asked to be moved to an open table we saw in another area. The hostess said it wasn't available. The other table remained open during our entire meal. Very disappointing customer service in that regard. The food was quite good but pricey and the noise level made conversation very difficult. All in all a disappointment. We much preferred their original location in terms of atmosphere. I don't think we will go back.

“One of the best BUT oh so pricey!”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

For sure one of the best meals I've had on the island and I have eaten at almost every good restaurant here BUT oh my gosh it's expensive. REALLY! The décor is very nice which yes is very hard to find in Port A as most places are truly hole in the walls or "rustic". BUT again you pay for it her my friend... bring yo' money! I was with a small group and all our food was good. The server was courteous but fumbled our drink order. However, after that he dialed it in and got it all right and our food came out nicely... very, very good stuff!
