We stayed at "The House" for a couple of days. We had young kids and were vegetarians, and Julie and the family were very accomodating. The amenities in the house were nice - new kitchen, nice showers, Wii for the kids, etc.. but still had a nice rustic feel. So we got the best of both worlds. They also fully stocked the kitchen with breakfast items including a veg casserole that they made for us. Nice "woods" getaway since it was too cold to go out to the lake, and would definitely recommend and stay there again.
