This little aquarium at Rockport beach was definitely worth a stop. The people running it are informative and friendly. They are passionate about local waters and educating the public on how to interact with it safely for people and creatures.
It has a nice display with clean aquariums that have fish that can be caught /seen locally. It is a look at the areas wildlife and some education on them. It also has a huge friendly eel. It has (for the fishermen) some antique fishing equipment and info on it as well.
It is a nice place to stop, look around. It does not take long and best of all it is free. You can leave a donation or purchase a trinket at the gift shop if you enjoy it. I think kids would enjoy looking at this as well.
