Quiet, comfortable and clean. A cottage for two set amid trees between the main road (and even that is pretty quiet) and the coast road. If you walk through the grounds and cross the coast road at the back you will find the private fishing pier. We are not fishermen but it is a nice spot to while away an hour.
There are shops along the road, and the cottage has everything you need to self-cater, although the Rockport area has lots of eating places to suit all pockets.
The cottage is cleaned daily and towels changed, although you have a doorsign that you can use asking for privacy.
I don't know whether we chose a quiet time to actually do the booking via the internet but for a small place they were extremely fast and efficient.
A place we can recommend for a quiet, comfortable stay.

The Cottages, The Grounds, The Private Pier, The Pool, The Staff, everything was AWESOME. We even had our Dog with us and she was wagging her tail the whole time we were there. Looking forward to a return trip in July!!

This was our second visit to the Pelican Bay Resort and the service and Cape Cod cabins were in top condition. This was truly a most relaxing, charming and comfortable place to be. The landscape setting was tropical with big oak trees and a breeze from Aransas Bay. The cottages are rainbow colored with porches and two rocking chairs. The price was reasonable and the Resort is extra clean. The Resort has a fsihing pier, pool, spa and numerous area activities from golf to the arts. Very enjoyable and relaxing trip.
