“Awesome experience!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

To begin the experience, we selected the crab stuffed mushrooms and then ordered the blackened fish with chipotle crawfish sauce and fried shrimp. The meal experience was leisurely and enjoyable. This is a great place to dine.

“Gem in Rockport”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

My husband treated my 2 sisters and I to a nice dinner out on their last day of vacation. The dining room was lovely and inviting, surrounded by a lot of natural light and beautiful art work. Our waitress was delightful and attentive. We all ordered fresh fish. Mine was cooked to perfection however, my husband and sister's fish was overcooked and rubbery. We all ordered Margaritas and our waitress explained that they actually hand craft their margaritas. They were delicious!. We also shared a delicious crème brule' for dessert. The only reason I didn't give the restaurant an Excellent rating was because the fish, although very fresh, was overcooked. I would still recommend this restaurant, just request the fish not be overcooked.

“Great service and awesome surrounding at a fair price”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

The service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect.
The salad and soup were excellent as was the shrimp and crab cocktail.... Why no horseradish???
The cocktails were perfect and the service timing was top notch and unobtrusive.
However the fish (both the snapper and blackened mahi were subpar at best. Snapper was well done and rubbery and the Mahi was not cooked properly for being blackened . It was broiled w slight amount of seasoning and well done too.
Blackened fish is obviously cooked over extreme heat I'm a cast iron skillet that sears in the seasoning and creates a crust on the fish that unveils pure Snow White goodness underneath. Mine was again broiled w light seasoning and a sauce that had broke.
All in all I will go back for the service and atmosphere might just go Turf next time.
Sorry for all the grammar errors I type fast and don't have the desire nor time to proof read:)

“Family Dinner”
Reviewed 2 August 2014 via mobile

The food was good but the service a bit slow. Our waitress was nice but very formal. She could have been more talkative and friendly.

“Obscenely Good”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Spending a Birthday weekend in Rockport. This restaurant came as a recommendation from family and friends. We were not disappointed. Greeted and seated right away for dinner. Wait Staff was attentive without being clingy. Drink order was taken right away. Served hot bread with garlic butter right off the bat. The tomato bisque soup was decent. The Red Snapper was fresh and tasty. The hit of the meal had to be the Shrimp Gilroy. Served in a cream sauce with mushrooms with a baked crumb topping. Ready to go back and have it again the next night!!!
Too bad there wasn't room for desert. Oh well, next time.
