“A seafood place in Austin???”
Reviewed 4 January 2012

Yes!
I went with a good friend yesterday and was floored with the quality of food. Gumbo is a must. With the added tabasco it was an incredilbe treat. Then had a 6 piece shrimp lunch with rice, a couple hush puppies and a piece of garlic toast. The shrimp was done to perfection, butterflied and lightly breaded.
I hear it is packed on the weekend and I understand why.
Wish I would have tried the "coldest beer in town" that others have mentioned.

“We LOVE Pacific Star!”

Reminds us of Cheers. It was a pleasant surprise. Sit at the bar for the best and coldest Dos XX in town or anywhere. Great beer, great service and good food.

Oysters were weird last time but I think that was because of the oil spill at the time.
