Yummies is great! We ate breakfast here and really enjoyed it. It is a casual and cute place. Service was fast and efficient. I had a breakfast quesadilla (egg, bacon + cheese) that came with potatoes, and it was all delicious. My husband had the Rancheros Santa Cruz, which he really liked. I was a little disappointed that their orange juice offering was just a bottle - Texas Squeeze - rather than freshly squeezed juice.

On our way out, we stopped by the takeout counter and grabbed slices of chocolate pecan pie and grapefruit pie. These were both amazing - the chocolate pecan pie was rich and delicious, while the grapefruit pie was very light and refreshing. The guys working the takeout counter were very friendly/helpful. They referred us to a place (Los Tortugo's) for fresh seafood and ceviche, and they definitely didn't steer us wrong!

We would go back to Yummies if we are back on SPI. We even tried going back for more pie on our last day in town, but they had already closed (it looked like they're only open until 2pm).

Wish we had found this gem earlier on our trip. The coffee was fabulous and the breakfast options were scrumptious. I don't think you can go wrong here. The service was exceptional. Our favorite server was Manuel. He was very attentive to our needs and really talked up the bistro.

We visited South Padre for a 3 night weekend, 5/8-5/11. We had breakfast here Fri and Sat and loved it. We tried to return Sunday (Mother's Day) but the crowd was crazy!

We visited based on the trip advisor #1 ranking and were NOT disappointed! We each had different entrees, both days, and were both completely satisfied. Service was great. We sat outside and enjoyed a nice breeze, both days.

Breakfast and Lunch served - believe they close at 2pm daily. It's a great stop and one we'll include the next time we return to SPI.
