“Nice place”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

My wife and I picked this place for our 35th Wedding Anniversary because of the reviews we had read and we weren't dissapointed. The food was excellant I had the grilled Red Snapper with a baked potato, grilled zuchinni and it also came with a large salad and dinner roll. My wife had the fried shrimp basket and it was also very good. The food is a little pricey at this place but you get a lot of food for the money and hey your paying for the ambiance and atmosphere because it's open air dining right on the ocean. The wait staff were excellant and very friendly and the drinks were also good it's a small place and I would guess it only sits about 20 or so guest so you might have to wait a little bit for a table although we got right in I think because it was October and we got there late. My wife and I have been coming down to SPI for about ten years and I never new this place exsisted but we'll definatley be going back to the Palms on our next visit.

“100th Birthday”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

What a gem! Picked ut for my father-in-law's 100th birthday dinner. Shrimp and oystees were the sweetest and most tender I've ever had. Will return and stay a few days just to try the rest of the menu. Great service and reasonable prices. Great place!

“Awesome food, atmosphere and service”
Reviewed 17 October 2013

This was our second time at Café on the Beach and found both experiences wonderful.
Fine food, on a lovely little patio nestled on the beach front - doesn't get much better. We found this gem last year during our 1st visit to SPI, and enjoyed it again this year. We actually had the same server who did remember us. Seeing the same faces from one year to the next is definitely a sign of a great establishment. The food is fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced.
The service is excellent. Our only regret is that we didn't have an opportunity to enjoy breakfast there. This restaurant will be a "must do" whenever we visit SPI

“Beach View. Great food”
Reviewed 15 October 2013 via mobile

This is getting to be a Must Stop when on SPI. Food is always good and staff very accommodating. If I had to pick one place to dine, this would be it. Breakfast is equally as good. For drinks try a Mango Rita

“Friendly open air restaurant.”
Reviewed 9 October 2013 via mobile

First visited this restaurant in June for lunch and found it so good we returned the next day for dinner. I've raved about the fried shrimp ever since. We returned to SPI today and couldn't wait to visit again. It didn't disappoint. One tip though, If you go at dusk be prepared for the Mosquitos.
