Becker was the most commercial feeling of the wineries I've visited around Fredericksburg. For the price of the tasting, you get 4 tickets to taste their various wines and get to keep the wine glass, a better perk than the tastings themselves. Most of the wines are higher end than the ones you see in your local HEB, though they didn't taste it. The pourers are busy attending others as it's usually busy here, being the most known of the Texas Hill Country wineries. So they aren't very attentive or even knowledgeable about their wines.

Hello from the winery! We're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your winery experience. The local wineries have been receiving a lot of publicity and bringing more visitors. We have hired more people to help accommodate our visitors and they are still in training. We appreciate your feedback so we can improve our service and the visitor experience.

This is a very large setting compared to others on 290. The lavender smells so good and the wines were outstanding. The servers were outstanding and very fun to speak with. The free tour was very nice and the tour guide was funny. The only downside was the lack of finger foods. Many of the other wineries in the area have great little appetizers and Becker didn't, but all-in-all and very nice experience.

Liked the size of the tasting bar, allowed for ample room between groups. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We ended up leaving with 6 bottles of wine and some lavender, which was locally grown. That they gave souvenir wine glasses as well was a nice unexpected treat.

Hisband and I drove up to check out this place. Beautiful winery, exquisite wines. We did a 6, 1 oz tasting each for about 12 bucks each and we got to keep the wine glasses. We took a free tour, that was a nice little treat. Sat outside and learned about the lavender that grows at the vineyard, too. Will definitely be back in May to see the lavender festival. Lovely place and friendly staff. Must see if you are planning to visit Fredericksburg.

We stopped here and enjoyed judging the Chili Cook Off that was going on. It was hot but so much fun. Great Chili's as well. We did a wine tasting and found some nice Texas wines. They were so busy it was hard to have a conversation with the servers about the wine. But all in all a good visit
